Ingredients

Serves 6
1 pkg hot dogs (cut into bite size pieces)
6 - 8 strips turkey bacon (cut into bite size pieces)
1 Tbsp chopped garlic
1/4 cup chopped onions
1 cup ketchup
1 can Bush's Chili Bean in sauce
2 Tbsp chili powder
to taste you may also add hot peppers if you like some added kick

Saute onions and garlic in olive oil until onions are translucent

Add bite size pieces of turkey bacon and hot dogs and cook until lightly browned.

Add one can of chili beans, 2 TBSP of chili powder and one cup of ketchup. Simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

Serve hot, over toasted buns, Sloppy Joe style. This can also be served on top of hot dogs for some double hot dog game day fun! Just be sure to provide plenty of napkins! (Recipe can be doubled to feed a crowd)
Tip
I prepare this on my stove top using a cast iron skillet.

    The system keeps demanding that I type in words to post comments, and ALSO the fancy recipe format makes it harder to see the ingredients. Some people should stop trying to fix what's not broken! But I bet this recipe does make a super bowl of hot dogs!
