Super Bowl sales on HDTV sets are in full gear and time is definitely running out. This time of year, HDTV sales skyrocket as everyone rushes out to have that brand new, big screen set in time for the Super Bowl. Sometimes new HDTV sets are bought to impress those coming over on Super Bowl Sunday, and others simply buy new HDTV sets now because the prices are lower than any other time throughout the year.
Browsing through your weekend advertisements will confirm that sales on HDTV sets are better than ever. There are price drops everywhere, closeout sets that are half off, and brand new LED technology sets that have dropped $1,000 in price for a limited time only. So whether or not you are looking for an HDTV set to impress your friends on Super Bowl Sunday or you are just contemplating upgrading your old television, now is the time to buy. You will not see lower prices on many of the sets for the rest of the year.
Here are some examples of the great deals you can find now on HDTV sets. Deals are available on LCD sets, Plasma sets, and the latest technology LED sets.
Starting with Sears. Sears offers a 50 inch Panasonic Plasma HDTV for $700, a decrease of 30% off of their normal price. They also have a 40 inch Sony LCD set for $880, a drop of $300 over their normal price. Additional sales are available in all sizes.
Kmart lists a 42 inch Panasonic Plasma for a mere $550. Their normal price for this set is nearly $800. Need something smaller, they also have a 32 Panasonic LCD for only $380, mark down from the usual $500.
Moving on the ABC Warehouse. ABC offers a 40 inch Sony LCD with a Sony Blu-Ray player for only $843. That price represents a 50% reduction from the normal combined price. Need something even bigger. They have a 52 inch Samsung LCD with a Blu-ray player for $1238. Again, nearly 50% off of the original combined price. Maybe you want the newest TV technology available. That would be LED. ABC offers a 46 inch Samsung LED for $1599, nearly $1,000 off of the normal price.
Finally, Best Buy has some great deals too. They have a 55 inch Samsung LED set for $2800, a drop of $1,000 off of the normal price. If 55 inch isn't big enough, they also have a 65 inch Panasonic Plasma set for $2,300, again around $1,000 off of their normal price. Or how about a 50 inch Panasonic Plasma set for just $980.
As you can see, discounts are higher than ever and now is definitely the time to buy that new HDTV set. As the retailers gear up for Super Bowl sales, you can take advantage of the lowest prices of the year. Typical trends suggest that prices will not be lower until next Christmas so now is the time to buy that big screen HDTV of your dreams.
