Super Bowl XLIII Commercials: Doritos' "Crystal Ball" and Bud Light's "Career Meeting" Lead Best Commercials

Hulu's "Alec in HuluWood" and Pepsi Max's "I'm Good" Run a Close Second in Super Bowl Commercials

Best 2009 SuperBowl Commercials. After watching Super Bowl XLIII go down to the last minute before the Pittsburgh Steelers came from behind to defeat the Arizona Cardinals 27-23, I had to go back and watch my DVR copy of the game to focus on the commercials! The second time around the Doritos (Crystal Ball) and Bud Light (Career Meeting) commercials had me laughing just as hard as the first time around. This year's Super Bowl had 67 game ads on NBC with the cost ranging between $2.4 million and $3 million per 30 second Super Bowl commercial slot. There are a number of places to check out the 2009 Super Bowl commercials online, but Hulu.com, Yungdrew.com, and YouTube.com are three places I recommend starting!

#1 Super Bowl XLIII Commercial - Doritos - Crystal Ball

The "Free Doritos" commercial featured two office-workers who claimed that their snow globe is a crystal ball. They predicted that they would get free Doritos...then promptly use it to smash the vending machine glass! Absolutely hilarious and has to be the first Super Bowl commercial you watch again today!

#2 Super Bowl XLIII Commercial - Bud Light - Career Meeting

This commercial made me spit my beverage out of my nose the first time watching during the Super Bowl! Set in an office meeting similar to the popular sitcom, the office worker gets thrown out the window for suggesting not having Bud Light available during meetings would save the company money. I had to go watch this one a few times after the game and its definitely worth taking a look at if you missed it last night!

#3 Super Bowl XLIII Commercial - Hulu - Alec in HuluWood

Alec Baldwin of 30 Rock, tells us that TV does not rot your brain, it only softens your brain. It softens your brain like a ripe banana, gelatinizing it into a mushy mush, and with Hulu free online video, there's nothing you can do to stop it. The quote "What are you going to do, turn off your TV and your computer?" was one of my favorites of all of the commercials from the 2009 Super Bowl!

#4 Super Bowl XLIII Commercial - Pepsi Max - I'm Good

Don't recreate this commercial at home or YouTube, but getting slammed in the spine with a 4' 2 by 4 fired across the garage, struck in the back of the head and the front of the face with a golf club, having a bowling ball dropped on one's head when it's in forward flexion, sticking one's head out of a limousine sunroof only to be slammed into the concrete of a parking garage overhang, and to top it off... getting launched 50 feet into the side of a railer after receiving the electrical jolt of a lifetime...all to be made better by Pepsi Max. This commercial came in at number four, but liked it much better the second time around!

Loved the Doritos Crystal Ball one, and the Bud Light meeting one was cool. Overall though, this year paled in comparison to the last few.
