Super Bowl XLV Commercials

Featuring the Best, Worst, and Most Controversial 2011 Super Bowl Ads

To some, Super Bowl Sunday is all about the game. To others, it's also about the commercials. Some of the best and most memorable ads are featured during the Super Bowl, and this year is offering up some that are destined to be classics.

Early contenders include "Baby Smush" from HomeAway.com. Featuring a baby getting smacked full-face into a glass wall, it's already causing a controversy.

VW's ad "The Force" gets the cutesy factor stirring with a pint-sized Darth Vader exploring his powers while his parents check out his antics.

Best of show will probably go to E-Trade, not so much for the commercial with the talking baby (which is always good anyhow), but more for the aftershow website link that allows users to send the baby as email or to their Facebook account as a video that speaks a message that they create. So, weird it's actually great.

You can check out all of the Super Bowl XLV ads online after the game. Here's a page that also has a list and actual videos of the SUPER BOWL XLV ads as they are scheduled to appear, links to the advertisers pages or sites that directly relate the the commercials that were featured, and a group of videos of past Super Bowl ads that remain classics even today.
