Super Charge Your Tractor and Store it as a Garage Come to Farmville

Michael Mann
Now you can upgrade that tractor you have on your farm. The standard tractor starts out being able to plow a 2x2 plot. I completed a co-op and was fortunate to get the school bus tractor which plows a 3x3 plot.

In addition to being to upgrade your tractor, it appears that the you will also be able to store your vehicles in this garage. That means no more having to leave land open to fit those vehicles you have on your farm. Leave enough space for the garage and place your vehicles inside.

If you are at least level 22 in the game, you can start working on your garage. I'm not sure why the strange level requirement. Must be one of the strange Zynga things or something.

Get the Garage Frame

You can purchase the garage farm through the Market inside the game for 50,000 coins. When you place this on your farm, the 50,000 will be deducted and 500 XP reward to you. Once placed, a message will appear informing you that you are building a 20 vehicle storage building and you can inform your friends to send you construction material. This will post a message to your wall.

As with most other building in FarmVille where you purchase or receive the frame, you will need to gather construction materials from your friends. The garage thankfully only needs a total of 30 parts: 10 bricks, 10 nails and 10 boards. Be sure to ask your friends as often as you can to send you parts. Be a good friend and send parts to your friends as well. As with many other buildings in FarmVille, the limit is one per player.

Upgrading Your Vehicles

Okay, so it's not just your tractor that you can store inside your garage. You can store up to 20 vehicles and each vehicle will start out as level 1. Upgrades are performed through the use of parts, which either your friends can send you or you can shell out FarmVille cash to purchase them. It's entirely your choice but I personally will be looking to friends to send me as many parts as they can.

Each level of upgrade will require a different number of parts. There appears to be a total of 4 levels and levels 3 and 4 require you to be at least level 26. Again, I don't completely understand the logic behind the weird level requirements. Also, the highest upgrade is a 4x4 plot, regardless of your vehicle. Vehicles which start higher than the 2x2 plot of the basic tractor simply start at a higher level.

Biplane Cannot Be Stored

Apparently the biplane, which can be used to grow your crops quicker using FarmVille cash, is not able to be stored in the garage. Nor is it upgradeable, since it does the entire farm at once. I am hoping this changes to allow the biplane to be upgradeable to reduce the total cost of a fly over.
