Super Freak Terrell Owens Told the Truth About the NFL

Throughout his NFL career - Super Freak Terrell Owens has been the poster child of bad misgivings concerning his outspoken talk about how he does not get enough of respect in the league. Terrell Owens has the right to be outspoken on how he feels about certain issues that have had a negative affect on his personal image. Terrell Owens has been scrutinized by the NFL and some fans that may not recognize that he has been one of the most productive wide receivers in NFL history, despite playing for four NFL teams.

When Terrell Owens began his career in 1996 with the San Francisco 49er's he was personally indoctrinated into the NFL by Jerry Rice - who mentored and help groom Owens from 1996 to 2000, this would help him develop into the player that he has become today. Terrell Owens also had the luxury of playing with Steve Young, during his 8 year tenure as a San Francisco wide receiver - Owens would amass 8572 yards and catch 81 touchdowns.

In 2009 Owens did not have a spectacular year with the Buffalo Bills, but he did manage to produce 829 receiving yards, and 5 touchdowns, which is a testament on why he will have an even better season due to the fact that he will be a free agent in 2010.

When Terrell Owens played with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2004 and 2005 - he help lead the eagles to the Divisional Playoffs despite being hampered with an ankle injury during the 2004 season, which sidelined him for several weeks. Super Freak Terrell Eldorado Owens told the truth about how the NFL can be bias concerning African-American players who speak about the misconception and intrusive fine line on freedom to voice their opinions.

It may seem quite ironic that Terrell Owens often referred to Donovan McNabb as not having enough of guts to stand up for him when he felt his days were numbered in Philadelphia, especially when he spoke out about how McNabb faltered in the 2005 Super Bowl. Terrell Owens is a well conditioned athlete that should not be ignored in the 2010 season, the only question is - will the New York Giants be willing to sign up TO in 2010 off-season?
