The graphics in this game are exactly what you would expect from a game on the Nintendo Wii. Everything is Vibrant Colors, pudgy, and very childish. Though some people will frown on this (PS3 or XBOX 360 owners), graphics are not the real focus of this game. The only reason the graphics are not good enough is because when you are playing in two player Cooperative mode, if your friend dies, the screen drops about 5 frames, which throws you off. This is not a graphics mistake, it is definitely on purpose, but it throws off your concentration.
Next let's move on to the gameplay. The gameplay in this game is fantastically simple. All you do is move from the left side of the screen to the right side without dying. You can kill enemies by bouncing on their heads. Don't fall in the lava! The controls are simple. The Wii Remote is help sideways, and the 2 button is jump. Hold the 1 button to run or tap if to use a Fire or Ice attack (you must be Fire, Ice, or Penguin Mario to use these). Simple enough, if I do say so myself. In 2 player cooperative mode, you can press the A button to enter a bubble, which makes you invincible, but at a cost. It doesn't cost you a life, but while you are in a bubble, if your partner dies, the game will end. He won't revive. Your partner can pop you out of the bubble by jumping on it.
In the end, this is one of the better Wii Video Games you can buy. It is a lot of fun, and anyone can play it. It is just hard enough to challenge any adult, but is not so difficult that your kids won't want to play it because they are stuck on level 1-1. I would rate this game with a fantastic nine stars out of ten stars. It is a lot of fun, the graphics are fun, and the difficulty makes the game more enjoyable. This game is rated E for Everyone, and truly, everyone can play it. I would reccommend renting this game before you purchase it, considering everyone's taste in Video Games is slightly differing. This is a great game, and I suggest you try to grab a copy (to rent or buy) as soon as possible.
