Made from plastic, the home must be put together. The good thing about this is, they come in several different sizes, the smallest being 26 pieces. The 26 piece is made for mice, hamsters and gerbils. I recommend not using this for rats or other small pets that may get stuck.

Here is where your imagination comes into play. You can make whatever type of home for your pet you can think of. The puzzle comes in when you make all the pieces work, leaving none out. This is great for children as they must work with their hands (small eye hand coordination) and must use logic to create a new play area, or must complete a puzzle for their pets. The colorful pieces will ensure hours of entertainment for your child and pet.

I only see a few downsides to this product first is the fact you must insert the clear square puzzle pieces into the square frames The triangle puzzle pieces are ready to go. To assemble your playground, all you need to do is snap the pieces of the playground together. To do this, lay all the pieces out on a flat surface. This ensures ease in fitting the pieces together, as the pieces can come apart if you are not careful. Some playground assemblies may not be so sturdy and the smallest jolt can cause them to come apart; this is another downside. Using all the pieces ensures the sturdiest playground possible for your pet.

The small holes in the clear plastic pieces are great for allowing your pet to climb all over their home which helps keep them entertained and allows for some great exercising as not all small pet habitats have climbing access. Secondly, all Puzzle Playgrounds can connect together which means you can continue to add to your playground with bigger and better things. You can mix and match or add and take away whenever you wish to keep your pet entertained at all times. A bored pet is an unhappy pet, and the Puzzle Playground will not let that happen!

Puzzle Playground pieces don't just come in houses either, they also come in wheels. You can put together a very safe wheel for your pet that they will love, connect that to other Puzzle Playgrounds and you have a great park for your pet to enjoy all day long.
