Super Troopers : A Super Comedy

The Outlaw
When people talk about classic comedies, one film that always comes up is Super Troopers. Every time I see the film it never gets old. The jokes are always funny and the storyline is original, creative and funny. The film stars Christian Albrizio and Aria Alpert.

The main storyline of the film is about a hilarious group of state troopers who make fun of people. There is this one fat cop who is really quite dumb that it is funny. On highway tickets for speeders the troopers play practical jokes on the people they give tickets to.

In one laugh out, stomach hurting, hilarious scene, two state troopers pull over a car for speeding. As the state trooper approaches the car window, he plays a game with his partner of how many times he can say the word "chicken f - -er" to the driver. As he approaches the window of the driver's car, he says, "lisence and registration, chicken f - " The scene is really very funny.

In another scene a cop pulls over a Swedish driver and his hot blond girl friend. As the cop is ready to give a ticket, the Swedish blond starts making out with the cop.

In another scene, two cops pull over a truck with drugs. Then when they both step into the truck, they are locked in by the driver and have to wait inside for hours until help comes.

Besides the jokes, the storyline is about the town mayor about to close this state trooper department because they haven't been arresting enough people and solving enough cases. In a huge case, the state troopers find drugs inside soap contianers. However another group of policemen get credit for their arrest and the state trooper group is about to get shut down.

In the final scenes of the film, they discover that the rival state trooper brigade has been helping criminals smuggle drugs into the state. Drunk as heck, the state troopers bust the men and are able to save their jobs.

If you love comedy, you are sure to love this film as well.
