It's Mississippi's largest retail nursery and is located on 17 acres offering plants shipped from all over the country, garden furniture, fountains and accessories. As far as what they offer in plants, it's as extensive as one could ask for--trees, water plants, succulants, perennials, annuals, shrubs, vines and groundcovers. Their Hydro-Mulch system can produce a beautiful lawn from just bare dirt in only days! It's a fascinating process that costs less and produces a finer turf than typical drawn-out sowing and seeding methods. The prices are reasonable and the staff is put into horticultural training programs to better serve the public. A beautiful and really fun place to shop.

They offer native ferns and perennials for people who want to establish a garden that will thrive in their Mississippi soil. Theirs is a complete garden center, with landscaping services, irrigation work and three registered landscape architects as well as other qualified developers and horticulturalists. They do ponds and water gardens as well. Garden Works is definitely a place to spend a day if one is planning a state of the art garden using Mississippi-hardy plants.

They're a full service garden center despite the name and have been in business in Jackson for over 40 years. While they do have an extensive selection of floral arrangements and potted collections, they now have a 5000 square foot greenhouse. It's a full service florist, gift shop, Interiorscape, Colorscape, and Christmascape retailer.
