What if I told you that some superpowers were real? Can't happen you say!? Not superpowers exactly like in the comics, but powers nonetheless.
When you run for a while endorphins are released in the body. It makes your body feel good and it gives you extra energy to keep running. Working out also releases endorphins as well. This occurs naturally in the body.
There are cases of people being de-magnetized or full of electricity. They walk into rooms and metal objects fly away from them, light-bulbs burst, computers freeze, anything electrical stops working. In order to touch someone else, they have to touch a metal object to get rid of their electrical discharge. Crazy huh? It's like the opposite of Magneto......
Some people can read minds and sense if persons are good or bad. Like esp in a way.... I always hear about certain persons that have a sixth sense. They feel that something will happen, or will suggest to friends maybe today's not a good idea to go fishing, or to wait a second before crossing the street, things like that.
There's also something called remote viewing, where a person can see something in their mind, highly detailed but far away. They draw it and this can aid police investigators on a case. Weird, huh?
I knew this guy I use to work with, and he was able to see a person's aura. Aura's are a type of energy that living things emit from around their body. The only way to see it is with special equipment. It's a different color for each individual, depending on what type of person you are. I don't know how he was able to see mine, but he did mention he was Celtic....
If I had a three powers to choose from, I'd pick invisibility, to jump really high and to be super strong. Why not pick flying? In order to fly miles above the Earth, you would need all this equipment for oxygen. (I don't want to deal with that every time I want to fly.)
And then there's me. I have more electrical energy than most people. You know how when you shuffle your feet on carpet and touch some metal you get a shock? It's like that. But with me, it's different. I don't have carpets where I live, yet I still get a small shock once in awhile when I touch metal. And sometimes I can see a little blue spark between my finger and a doorknob. I don't understand it myself. I don't shuffle my feet when I walk, so how can static build up? I figure it must be from within. (You know that there are electrolytes in your body, right?) Over the years I have been to the hospital twice for getting shocked. I guess I have a higher concentration of electrolytes in my body, I have no idea. Maybe my ph balance is way off. Sometimes lights will dim for a half second in a room that I am in..... for no reason.
