According to the Associated press, people are making plans for Saturday based on the feeling that it will be a lucky day for them.
Reports of nearly 100 couples will tie the knot atop of roller coasters and on spinning teacups at 7am on 7/7/07. There are plans of massive meditations and prayer sessions for that day as well.
Experts point out that 7/7/07 is just another day and it isn't going to prove to be luckier than any other day. These so called experts must not have a superstitious bone in their bodies. It is all a matter of opinion basically. Many people would like to disagree with these experts. I think we will just need to wait and see what happens.
Casinos all over the country are planning to attract the superstitions gamblers with "7" themed specials. The Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City, NJ is offering a $7,777 package which includes a bi-level suite, two tickets to a show and to the spa and dining and shopping credits. That is sure to pull in the big spenders that are highly superstitious.
Many people feel that 7 is a lucky number and having three 7's in a row is the luckiest of all. Six Flags is benefiting from that belief. All of the twelve Six Flags amusement parks are hosting 7 wedding receptions at 7am each. They have titled the day as "Thrilled Ever After". Guess you can say it is going to be a lucky day for Six Flags as they will be making extra money on 7/7/07.
The Associated Press states that a yoga instructor in Santa Monica, CA named Harijiwan said "The numerology on this day - 7/7/07 - is phenomenal. Seven represents the aura. Three sevens equals 21 (2+13). Three represents the positive mind. Add the 7pm hour and you have four sevens, which equals to 28 (2+810). Ten is the radiant body". It has also been said that the number seven is significant in the Bible because seven represents a covenant.
So however you feel about superstitions, it might be worth believing this Saturday, even if only for one day, according to many different people. Perhaps playing the lottery or a few games of chance just to check out the many theories going around may prove to be worth your time. I personally feel that luck is something that is just that, luck. You can't for see if you will be lucky but when the Earth provides you will something that looks and feels to be lucky, you need to ride that wave right out into the lucky. You can help to make your own luck. Guess we will all just have to wait and see what Saturday brings us all. Good luck!!!
