Supplements Vs All Natural Products

Greg Seltz
Though many athletes today are accustomed to utilizing supplements to enhance performance, they simply ignore natural products that provide similar benefits and reduced side effects. I, too, am guilty of acknowledging such, though hypocritical as it may sound. Though a variety of pills and powders are available in today's market to enhance intensity and increase muscle growth, strength, and drive; a nutritious diet and workout routine can provide similar and more satisfying results.

The negative aspects familiarized with the above statement are primarily time and dedication. With strenuous work schedules and other daily responsibilities, who can spare time cooking healthy and engaging in necessary physical fitness? My schedule allows roughly 4 hours of freedom per day, if an adequate 8 hours of sleep is incorporated. With supplements initiated into my routine diet and workout, the stress and fatigue is less likely to reduce my motivation and focus. Instead, products similar to No Xplode and Jack3d provide an intense rush of energy to elevate my performance in the evenings. This allows my muscles to train harder, and therefore strain the body to develop new growth and tension. This is obviously the motive to consume supplements, as it provides for desired results quickly.

On another note, simple foods contain all the necessary nutrients to obtain similar results. A healthy diet consisting of protein, carbohydrates, and fatty oils along with an intense workout, will inevitably reduce body fat and reflect a more defined physique. Though each body is different, exercises including weight training, cardio, and other fitness programs will suit respective needs. A hard gainer such as myself, for example, needs to triple the caloric intake with a proper ratio of nutrients (i.e. 35% protein, 50% carbohydrates, and 15% fats). Of course, experimentation is typically required for all amateur athletes; however, this may also prove similarly to supplement users depending on your body type. While I consume a large portion of protein sources such as chicken, fish, steak, and eggs; I also digest a reasonable portion of carbohydrates to increase energy levels. Fat-free pastas, potatoes, and nearly anything white will prove beneficial in my case. Good fatty oils are commonly misinterpreted when physical fitness goals are constructed. Ensure to consume avocados, nuts, and other omega-3 fatty oils while partaking in your diet regime.

Though the advice enlisted among this article tend to pertain towards my own experience, it also intends to mention that strong dedication and a little bit of time can prove more satisfying results. Imagine a body free from chemicals and other possibly harmful ingredients. Though testosterone boosts my energy levels for peak performance, it also incorporates other side effects such as hair growth and emotional inconsistencies. The scales need to be weighed and the individual questioned as to what they consider a fair trade.
