Support Our Troops

It is important for us to stand together and support our troops and their families. Just in Lea county area of New Mexico 40 Plus soldiers are getting ready to be trained to go Afghanistan. They will be there for 14 months at the least. They Could use our prayers and our support. Even if you do not agree with the army please support our troops.

They are going to an area where they do not know anyone and will be in a lot of danger. Some will return safe, some may not return the same, some may not return at all. They are leaving behind family and friends without knowing what will happen to them and hoping that they will return to see their families and friends.hey deserve our respect, our support and most of all our prayers.

Please do not turn your back on our troops. They are leaving behind people they care and love some newly weds,some are have new borns, some have pregnant wife's, some never been married, some young, some older, but they all have one thing in common risking their lives for us. Putting their country before themselves they go knowing they may not ever see their family and friends again.

They might be scared and worried but they our brave for putting their fears aside and going without knowing what lies ahead of them, All they will have to keep them going is thoughts of family and friends,letters maybe a phone call every now and then, our support and our prayers. So please keep them in your thoughts, in your hearts, and in your prayers. They are people just like anyone else, they are loved and love. So the next time your saying a prayer think of the soldiers and their families.
