When Dreams Fall into the Depths of Reality

The highest point one can reach
I had searched a million miles,
yet still, I could not find love.
The height of my passion was the depths of my despair, as I dragged beauty with me
I knew not how I could bear.
From the sixth floor I could see destiny forming.
I recalled the sound of dreams flooding the night with the splendor of their colour.
Hues warming to a soul sunset of bright blue.
Elevation was the key to success in this accomplishment;
for I could now bear witness, to more than merely the sky above.
I could soak in the rays of light filling the depths below me,
as the tide of dawn rushed in.
The sensation was raw awe, it became the very air around me.
I lift my head higher than the view would allow, and yet still the dawn she fills my sight.
The moon so full of its glory, too proud to leave the sky that night.
-The moon was strong and would bear out to be part, to be remembered...

I cried, for all I had longed for, was the chance to find her,
but yet I realized at that moment what I guess I always knew,
that you cant find love,
for love has always been with you.
