Eminem, who is more formally known as Marshall Bruce Mathers III, will be performing. With ten nominations, he also holds the record for the most nominations this year. His collaboration with Rihanna, "Love The Way You Lie," has received several of those nominations, and it's rumored that the two may duet at the show. However, it has only been confirmed that Rihanna will be singing with Drake, according to The Examiner.
Also, Christina Aguilera, who the singer Eminem once dissed in his first major hit, "The Real Slim Shady," will be singing. She starred in the hit film "Burlesque" this year; although it received mixed reviews from critics, fans flocked to see the movie. She most recently made headlines when she flubbed some lyrics of the National Anthem during the Super Bowl. According to Popeater, Aguilera is ready to use her Grammy Awards performance as a comeback to show she's still got it.
Justin Bieber, who can currently be seen on the silver screen in a 3D documentary about his ride to pop stardom, will be singing at the Grammys as well. He is doing a joint performance alongside Jaden Smith, the star of last year's "The Karate Kid," and famed singer Usher.
Gwyneth Paltrow, the much-lauded, Academy Award-winning actress, will also be singing at the Grammys this year. She starred as a troubled country singing superstar in "Country Strong" this past year. Her vocals were also featured on its soundtrack, but her number for the show has not yet been announced.
What really has a lot of people excited is the fact that screen and music legend Barbra Streisand will also be performing. She's also nominated for an award and will be honored by the charitable arm of the Grammys, MusiCares, according to Streisand's official website.
Lady Gaga will be performing her new single, "Born This Way." According to official Grammy Awards website, she also is nominated for six awards this year, including Album Of The Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for "The Fame Monster."
Katy Perry, B.o.B., Lady Antebellum, Arcade Fire, Cee Lo Green, Janelle Monae, Muse, and Miranda Lambert will also be performing.
