The first symptom that you may experience that no one ever told you about is nose bleeds. You may go to blow your nose and be alarmed to see the tissue full of blood however it is not anything to be concerned about. Some pregnant women will experience nosebleeds in the beginning of their pregnancy due to the change of hormones. It is likely to pass quickly and will only cause a minor inconvenience.
Next on the list is all day sickness. Most pregnant women will anticipate morning sickness or expect to get it however they may be worried when this morning sickness stretches into day sickness or even night sickness. While this can be difficult to go through, there are some women who experience large amounts of nausea all day long during the first few months of pregnancy. For those who are concerned over the amount of time they are sick they should contact their doctors as there are medications they can take to relieve the nausea or some at home remedies that can help. These at home remedies include special candies that contain ginger. These will help to relieve some of the nausea.
One symptom that no one seems to tell you about occurs very early in the pregnancy and can be a huge worry to pregnant women if they are not expecting it and this is minor bleeding from implantation. With technologies making it to where women can find out they are pregnant a few days before their period is due, pregnant women who find out very early on may become very scared when they go to the bathroom and see a small amount of blood when they wipe. This minor spotting can be from implantation and is actually fairly common. It generally goes away soon and most women go on to have normal pregnancies. It is important to note that if you are worried for any reason you should always contact your doctor especially if you find the bleeding increases.
Lastly, while no one wants to think about this symptom, sadly stretch marks do happen. Other women have probably told you about the possibility of getting stretch marks on your stomach but they may have failed to tell you you can also get them on other areas such as your thighs, buttocks and your breasts. There are special creams that you can use that can help reduce stretching as well as after you give birth, but you may still see the thin lines. Do not be alarmed at how red and deep they may be as over time they will fade. For those who are concerned and want more drastic measures done to reduce their appearance they can contact their dermatologist.
