Player modes are single and multi-player modes (4 player co-ops available). Playing on your own PS3 or Xbox360 or networking into a battlefield of world class compatriots on the World Wide Web.
Acoustics blare the sounds of war from every precipice of screen as your soldier grabs, dives or is blown to smithereens during the graphic battle.
As for visual aesthetics, the continuity of the maps lends itself to a global masterpiece of ground covering swell as you and your soldier become one grappling with the territory to gain your foothold. The battlefields are mapped to exquisite detail and definition, and if the packaged maps aren't enough, you can buy more to load up.
Scoring becomes a chessboard of strategy. Players playing within one of the classes (Assault, Engineer, Medic, or Recon) must protect their assets, but best themselves by applying their skills to gain kills. Engineers gain extras for resurrecting a tank that was rendered useless by the enemy. Medics gain extras for bringing the dead to life or shock the enemy's heart to make a kill.
Know your buttons! Your select/back buttons hold your enemies future in its crosshairs alerting your teammates to their position. If used on your teammates, icons appear above their heads and you can ask for health or ammo or to fix a wreck, extending your playtime.
Tips and Tricks: If you are new to gaming and the art of war, bullets and gunnery are effected by gravity, so to in the reality of gaming. Timing is key, practice makes perfect.
Drawbacks: As a new gamer it was a lot to take in, learn the 4 classes (downgraded from 6) and not be stalled by all the visual graphics as they were very life like. Spawning could be your friend or your enemy as spawn squatters often kill spawns after materialization.
Comments made: Other gamers have cited the lack of availability of complete weapons. For example, it takes 5,000 kills to earn a M1 Bayonet, which in real life is standard issue.
