The years have gone by but it still feels like yesterday
Or if I turn around I'll be back there...
When I wake up before I open my eyes
I'm there, when I see someone I know
I'm still afraid to speak to them
Triggers they call them
Bodies memories too...
The past haunting me is all I see
I feel even if I ran as hard and as far as I could it'd still be there
And it always will be there, in my past
