Is it just me or does Erik look a lot, and actually acts a lot, like Ethan Zohn from Survivor Africa? What do you think?
Let's get down to the real action. Each team was allowed to select two players from the other tribe to become members of their tribe. And of course each team chose the two players that they believed to be the strongest from the other team. The Zhan Hu tribe never seemed to figure out that if they were getting two members from Fei Long that Fei Long would get two of their members. I'm not sure that tribe is clicking on all cylinders. Anyway, the swap is made and immediately Jean-Robert is sweating bullets because anyone close to being considered his ally (James) just walked off his corner of the world into the Zhan Hu camp. The brilliant strategist at Zhan Hu decided they would get rid of these two strong competitors immediately by making sure they didn't win the next two immunity challenges. True to their word Jamie and Peih-Gee didn't do anything during the challenge but laugh and scratch their heads. It was so obvious to everyone that they were throwing the challenge. Even Jeff commented on it during the challenge and again at tribal council. I don't' think they should have thrown the challenge. It's a little too early in the competition to be doing this, plus it's Survivor, just when you think you know what's going to happen they change things on you.
So, Zhan Hu loses the immunity challenge and they have the difficult task of deciding who to vote off between Aaron and James. In the end they vote off Aaron instead of James. They basically did this because they think Aaron is a little sneakier. James is a bigger physical threat in the challenges but doesn't seem to have as many allies back at Fei Long.
All in all tonight's episode wasn't that exciting. I'm just waiting for someone to vote off Jean-Robert and Sherea. Who knows maybe those two will form and alliance and go all they way to the final two? Not!
