Survivor Episode 4-- Mickey B. Goes Bye Bye!

This show opens with Jeff talking, rain in the Fan's camp and guess what; they still don't have a shelter!

Over in the Fave's camp Jonathan and Cirie are having words, Jonathan comes off the bitchiest and Cirie mans up and tells him "Hey, I don't trust you and you don't trust me."

Back at the Fans tribe of Airai (Micronesian for can't build a shelter) Eric and Jason catch an eel, some members speculate on who the Faves voted off and Chet bums just about everybody out.

The Reward Challenge:

This episode's reward challenge encompasses the skills of swimming, diving and spelling and puzzle solving. The kind of things you'll likely encounter on your own vacation in the islands of Micronesia.

Four team members must swim out to and dive on a cage full of coconuts. Some of these have letters on them and they must be pushed to the opening in the cage one at a time.

Teams are chosen, off they go and immediately Ozzie finds a loophole in the challenge rules to exploit. While the Coconuts must be removed one at a time, no one told him they couldn't be gathered near the opening for easier removal by his teammates. Guess what, the strategy works. The Faves get all ten of the lettered coconuts to shore, hand them over to puzzle solvers and spellers and BAM the Faves take it. Their reward is 3 hens and 1 rooster. A party ensues!!!

Cut to the Fans and there's mucho bad karma. Joel the ape-man and Mickey B. complain that there team is weak and that Kathy or Chet must go if they lose the immunity challenge.

While they complain, Kathy from the Fans (a semi-permanent resident of Exile island) and Ozzie of the Faves are on Exile Island. In the time it takes to say "I'm gonna find the hidden Immunity Idol and Rock this Game," Ozzie does. In addition he manages to hide this from crazy clueless Kathy and even attempts to make a crude counterfeit Idol to fool other players.

Immunity Challenge:

This week's immunity challenge uses the skills of finding the 1 key in 6 that fits your lock, unlocking the lock and walking around a course attached to your teammates by a giant group of metal swizzle sticks that rotate on a hub. When on the course necklaces are collected which will be used by the skill players at the puzzle to once again spell and solve a puzzle. Do you sense a theme here? The Faves excel at all three facets of this challenge and win handily!

Back at the Fans camp the always feisty Tracy (busty member of the three outcasts) decides it's time to make a stand. She confronts Joel the ape-man and tells him he's letting Mikey B. lead him around by the nose. They converse concerning the ouster of Mary, and Joel concedes he has a bull's eye on his back. Tracy puts forth the proposition that now and only now will he have the votes to remove Mikey B. Joel says he'll think about it.

Tribal Council:

The Fans come in and have a seat. Mickey B., Chet, Joel, Tracy and Natalie all look pretty uncomfortable. Jeff asks about the coming vote and Erik states they need to keep the tribe strong. Chet's out-of-it-ness is mentioned. Jason states that it's not always about physical strength. Mickey B. squirms a bit, Joel nods in the affirmative. When Jeff says its time to vote Erik states emphatically that all team members should think about what will make the team stronger. Nice try Erik.The vote is taken and at 3 to3 Chet vs. Mickey B., it dawns on the Mikester that maybe he's going. The vote goes to 5 for Mickey B. and its Bye Bye. Score Ape-man 2 Mikey B. ZERO.
