Survivor Heroes and Villains Revert to Old Strategies & Bad Habits

Reality Rehash
On Survivor you never want to repeat yourself but tonight several players did just that, especially on the Villains. After returning to camp after an explosive Tribal Council, the Heroes tried to settle James down. Tom tried to talk him down and tell him to just be less harsh. It seems Tom is doing some last minute "fix ups" after Steph went. I'm not sure if he initiated the talk between JT and himself but it seems Tom and JT are back together once again, well at least for now. Before the day broke Colby had a mini melt down. He didn't want to play the game as nasty as it was already, but Tom, once again, talked him out of it by telling him they know what they are up against at least and must start playing dirty.

When morning broke the Heroes camp had two big dilemmas: the chickens and Candice. After Rupert wished for a bonding moment between his tribe he got just that as the two chickens escaped from the newly built pen. I'd call JT the new Shambo, but at least he didn't talk to the chickens like her. Oh Shambo, how I miss thee. In the end Rupert and Tom caught the chickens but it all came thanks to a group effort. It brought the tribe together and probably helped them in the upcoming challenge. Before we get to that though, what is up with Candice? JT told a little lie to Cirie that Candice was worried about her. Cirie then went and told Candice who then got all paranoid and asked EVERYONE if they told Cirie that she didn't trust her anymore. First of all, you know that nobody is going to fess up. It's also stupid to worry about something like that because you know every one's saying the same thing to everyone anyway. Candice just screwed herself, if she would have just stayed quiet should could have just sailed straight to the end.

Over at the Villains camp we once again return to night time where both Rob and Russell had interesting moments. Rob used his All Stars strategy to his advantage by realizing that whoever is sleeping close together: ie Parvati/Russell and Jerri/Coach, are probably working together themselves. Sound familiar? Ding ding ding! Amber and Rob ring a bell? Then we have Russell who was up to no good at night, just like last season, after hiding the machete and promising to hide Rob's hat. He sure won't mind that but nobody seemed to miss the machete too much. It was an odd sight the next day seeing Rob and Coach basically talking down to Russell. I'm so used to seeing Russell in charge and when he isn't he just doesn't seem himself. They basically told him to stop hanging out with Parvati as they want her gone and with him obviously working with her that puts a target on him as well. I assume Russell did everything to bite his tongue but them not knowing what he did last season is sure helping him this time around.

At the single challenge, which was half immunity and half reward, the Survivors had to battle sumo style to win. I HATE that they only have one challenge per episode lately and it sucks. I want reward challenges people! Especially if they bring a clue to the idol which has been hidden this entire time. Seriously, why hasn't Russell looked for it yet? The Heroes won with a landslide win, beating every single Villain in their round and basically kicking their butts. Some memorable moments are as such. Coach pushed Rupert off to start but used his arm creating a do-over. Rupert then slide Coach off the platform, giving him an easy win and probably bruising Coach's ego. He deserved it though after giving Jeff the finger. We then had Colby and Rob fighting off once again. They were fighting the entire time but Colby got the point and once again, probably bruised Rob's ego. Cirie taking down Jerri was a biggy as she made it look easy while Candice took down Danielle. That was a bit of a shocker, considering Danielle just seems more hardcore while Candice is all nice and stuff. The Villains cried all the way home, but they quickly changed their tune to start some strategy.

With their wins the Villains really didn't have to think of voting anyone off. The obvious first name was Parvati who seemed to be the target thanks to her friend James, Cirie and Amanda. Everyone knows she will swap at the merge and are scared of her flirting ways and "wiggling hips". Tyson, Jerri and Coach were all for voting off Parvati, as was Randy who pushed hard for her to go since he was the other target. Russel was a big Randy-vote supporter since he wanted Parvati to stay, as was Danielle since she thinks Randy was weak and old. When it came down to it though Coach promised to fight to keep Randy while Jerri wanted to punch Parvati out, yet voted for her to stay in the game. Randy's vote comes as a bit of a shock since he's done well in challenges and his lack of friends should be a reason to keep him. He gave the tribe a huge diss by throwing his buff into the fire, something I'm surprised nobody has ever done before and he was obviously mad.

I'm surprised that Courtney's name wasn't thrown out there. Although the guys seems to have the power on the Villains I think the ladies are running the show and if Danielle/Courtney/Parvati can all work together they can surely run the game, especially if Parvati has Russell in her pocket.
