When it came down to it, Colby and Parvati were in the finals for the challenge and with a brisk wing, Colby dropped out. It was finally his time to shine and get a win, but Parvati beat him out yet again sending Colby back to camp a bummer. Knowing that he was most likely going home, Colby told the four Villains that he won't scramble and he'll be fine going home. Basically quitting. Problem was, Colby has issues quitting and had probably the longer confessional where nothing was said ever. They seriously showed him for a good 30 or 40 seconds of silence. It was odd, but made sense. He then woke up and went o Russell, telling him that it may be smarter to send Sandra home. Russell then began thinking that may be a benefit, but since he had Jerri's vote locked in it all came down to Tribal Council.
Tribal Council was not as expected as Colby actually fought to stay. He brought up the fact that it would be smart to send Sandra home and also flat out told Parvati that had she not won the immunity idol, she may have been going home. Parvati wasn't aware of this it carried into the next day but that couldn't really save Colby as the last hero standing was sent home. Leaving the final four as the final four Villains. As the four got back to camp they were all happy to be together, however Parvati was now weary of Russell thanks to Colby's statement. This then led Parvati to go into the next immunity challenge fighting harder to win and she had to. Jerri and Russell wanted to send Parvati home, Russell since he thinks he can't beat her while Jerri has had it out for Parvati since the first day. The way that Sandra plays into this is that she is going to the final vote open. She knows that she can't win the challenge but Sandra can decide who goes home in the next vote and that makes her very important.
After the four go through their rights of passage, a very funny one at that thanks to their comments, the four meet up with Jeff for a blind maze. They have to move around with their eyes blindfolded, moving to four idols. The first to get all four and grab the immunity idol would win the challenge and move on to the final three. It all came down to Jerri, Russell and Parvati going for the idol at the same exact time. It just came down to who grabbed it first and that was Russell. Making him the first member of the final three, now it all came down to who would be voted out. Back at camp Russell immediately told Sandra that she was going to the finals, she was happy for that but now it had to be decided on who would go with them. Russell wanted Jerri to go to the finals first as he believed that Parvati would get votes and would ultimately be harder to beat. But then he realized that sending Jerri to the jury would give him one auto-vote (well he thought that at least) and that would lead him to more. In the end it was Jerri who was sent him and although she seemed ok at first, she didn't seem ok when it came to her jury comments.
The final three are three very different Villains: Parvati someone who played three times now and flirted her way most the time. Then we have Russell who played back to back seasons and played exactly the same way: lying and basically just being evil. Then we have Sandra who has never won a challenge in any of her seasons, kind of hides in the dark but makes bonds with people. The three made very different choices in this game and all were there for different reasons. At their final tribal council the three weren't attacked as much as I thought. Parvati was called out for being Russell's little bird under his wing, Russell was made out to be the most evil person ever and someone who would never win while Sandra was called out for doing nothing and not making moves. Sandra changed people's minds though I believe when saying she couldn't make moves, like getting rid of Russell, since people wouldn't let her. Russell wouldn't change his tune and continued saying he didn't have to use luck to get to the finals and that he wouldn't change his game ta all. Parvati didn't say too much other then that people didn't trust her coming in that and that she made it to the end even though she had a huge target. When the votes were cast though we were shown three for Parvati and three for Sandra. NONE for Russell which I'm sure he just LOVES, well at least I do! It came down to the eighth vote though and that was vote SANDRA!! She's the one I wanted to win since the start and I'm glad that she has become the first twice winner of Survivor. She deserves it and Parvati did as well, just Sandra provided more entertainment and ultimately made better bonds then the other two. It has been an amazing season of Survivor and although I'm sad it's over, it's nice to know that the show is better then it's ever been and come the fall we get to watch it all over again!
