Survivor Heroes Vs. Villains Episode 3

Cracks and Unity in the Tribes

At the beginning of Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains Episode 3, the Heroes were returning from Tribal council. J.T.'s lie about being allied to Tom came out during tribal council, and J.T. apologized to Tom when they arrived. Tom doesn't completely trust J.T. anymore, and realizes that all the heroes may not be playing a trustworthy game this time around.

Rob is smart. He doesn't trust Russell, and is concerned about his relationship with Parvati. Similarly, Rob is concerned about Coach's relationship with Jerri. Rob and Coach approached Russell with advice about not hanging out with Parvati too much, but Russell decided to ignore the advice.

At the other camp, Rupert was concerned that the Heroes weren't acting as a cohesive unit; however, the chickens escaped, and they acted as a team to recapture them. It helped them bond as a tribe. However, cracks still remained. Cirie heard from someone that Candace didn't trust her, and after Cirie confronted her with that information, Candace went to all of her tribemates to see who was spreading that rumor.

At the Villains camp, Coach was back to telling nighttime stories about his many adventures, just like he did in Tocantins. While Coach was talking and others were sleeping, Russell was up to his old tricks. He buried the machete, hoping to create conflict within the tribe, and considered hiding Rob's hat.

The challenge was combined immunity and reward. Survivors would meet, one person per tribe, on a platform surrounded by mud. The goal was to push the other person into the mud, while holding onto pillow-like bags. The winning team would win immunity, their luxury items, coffee, rice for a week, and sugar.

The challenge was a sweep for the Heroes. Tom beat Russell easily; Candace pushed Parvati in the mud. Coach pushed Rupert into the mud using his arm, but he was forced to redo the match because he was only supposed to push Rupert with the bag. Rupert forced Coach in the mud during the rematch. Cirie beat Jerri. J.T. sent Tyson into the mud. Amanda pushed Danni in the mud; Colby shoved Boston Rob in the mud. In the final, obviously mismatched pair-up, James pushed Randy in the mud with one hard shove.

Some of the Villains were getting tired of Parvati. Neither Coach or Russell liked how she didn't do much work around the camp. Parvati flirted with all of the guys, trying to stay in the game. The tribe was trying to decide on whether to vote Parvati or Randy off. Randy was the weakest, but Parvati had more friends over on the Heroes side. Coach, Randy, and Jerri were turned off by her.

Coach deluded himself, mentioning in confessional that everybody was dishonorable, and that he was the only honorable person on the tribe. He said that he planned on fighting for Randy, and saw it as being the right thing to do, not what was in his best interest.

During Tribal Council, Jeff asked about past relationships. Sandra mentioned that Parvati knew James, Cirie, and J.T., and was concerned that she would ally with them after the merge. The Villains didn't seem to get along at all, and cracks in the relationships between the tribemates seemed apparent.

In the end, all of the Villains voted Randy out, except for Randy, who voted for Rob. I guess Coach's claim of being honorable and fighting for Randy was another dishonorable move on the self-righteous adventurer's part.

  • Russell is up to his old tricks again, this time hiding the tribe's machete.
  • Some of the Villains are tired of Parvati's laziness and using flirting to get by.
Although Coach seems to make up wild stories, he really has had adventures, and holds the record for the longest open-ocean kayak trip.
