That night, Russell found Rob hanging out in the dark, and he told Rob that he didn't want to have any animosity. Rob told him that many of the Villains were upset that he went looking for that idol. They didn't seem to really resolve any differences.
Treemail arrived, and the Survivors were unable to tell whether or not it would be a reward or immunity challenge. When they arrived at the challenge, Danielle was surprised that James had not been voted out. Jeff announced that both tribes would be going to tribal council that night, and that individual immunity would be awarded. One person per tribe would get individual immunity. The winner of the tribe's individual immunity would face off against the other tribe's winner. The winner of the face-off would win a meal for their tribe, that they would eat at the other Tribal Council.
For the challenge, the Survivors would be tethered to a rope that was wound around an obstacle course. They would maneuver through an obstacle course and try to be the fastest. Each tribe would compete separately. For the Heroes that went first, James took an early lead, but Candace and J.T. caught up and passed him. Candace was the overall winner. For the Villains, Parvati and Russell did well, but Boston Rob overtook them and won immunity on his tribe. When Candace and Rob competed, Rob took an early lead and won.
After going back to the Villains camp, Boston Rob gathered his alliance together and told them that they would act like they were voting out Russell (to try to flush out the idol) while voting out Parvati. Russell figured out this scheme, and told Parvati that he'd give her the idol so that she could use it, and they would vote for Tyson.
Colby told his tribe that he was okay with them voting him out, because he hadn't been performing well at the challenges. Even though James was injured, he still beat Colby in the challenge. J.T., Amanda, and Rupert discussed whether they were going to vote out James or Colby. Both had their weaknesses. James had heart, but he had a bum knee, and he also ate quite a few of the bananas. James decided to have the "hero Olympics" and race against J.T. in order to prove that he could still compete. J.T. won, but James was able to run, although a little more slowly.
Rob came up with a strategy of splitting the vote between Parvati and Russell. They would each get three votes. If Russell played the idol, then Parvati would go out, otherwise, they would have a tie and a revote. However, Russell told Tyson that he would vote for Parvati, and Tyson thought that he would switch his vote to Parvati to take her out. Russell still didn't know whether he would give Parvati the idol or not at that point.
The Villains went to tribal council first. They discussed the difference between old-school Survivor and Survivor today. The main differences were that the earlier Survivor seasons were more survival-focused, and didn't have twists like the hidden immunity idol. When asked whether someone was going to play the immunity idol after the vote, Russell stood up and acted like he was going to play the immunity idol, but he gave the immunity idol to Parvati instead. It was an ingenious move, because Russell had talked Tyson into voting for Parvati. As a result, there were only two votes for Russell, but three votes for Tyson, and four votes for Parvati (those did not count). Tyson ended up going out because he was duped into believing that Russell was trying to vote out Parvati. While I'm not a big fan of Russell's (I think that he is one of the most evil Survivor players ever), I have to applaud him for this bold move. He was very smart to make it.
When the Heroes went to tribal council, the Villains ate while the Heroes discussed who wanted to stay on Survivor the most. Colby admitted that he hadn't been performing up to standards. Despite this, and the will of James to stay, James was voted out. Two of his three Survivor seasons resulted in injury, while on the other season he played, he was voted out while holding on to two immunity idols.

Post a CommentWOW it is a shame that Boston Rob got
the ax last night, I can only see one mistake that he made in the whole show and that is he should have gone after "THE LITTLE MAN " sooner however it may have not made a differance though because CBS is calling the shots on this show it is as obvious as the nose on your face. If you think that I am wrong just keep your eyes on who is getting all of that " camera action " it is "THE LITTLE MAN " ! Boston Rob called Russel " A MAN " he should have called him a more suitabl name like " A SNAKE " . Russel thinks in his syphilated mind that he has controll of everyone on the "SHOW " he has got a real bad case of the " I " PROBLEM ! Since CBS only has one thing on it's mind is the ratings of this so called show it looks like " THE SNAKE " will be here for a while longer . I heard a story about a snke once , it went like this . There was a snake one time that was very cold and he came across a kind man and asked him if he would pick him up and put him
This season has had some pretty violent challenges...
Survivor has become so brutal an average person cannot hope to win. I love the skill of the game;but not the sheer mean hurt or be hurt to survive. How about some games of wisdom to keep good players in the game from the beginning?
I can't remember who it was, it was a black guy from a few seasons back that went out prior to the merge... I think it was Sekou... he was talking on Survivor Sucks about how his image in the game was completely unlike him. So I can see how they could edit Russell, taking out any good things he does and focusing on the bad.
Keep in mind that the editors of Survivor have a lot of leeway when creating a storyline. Notice how we didn't see hardly anything from Tyson the whole time this season, yet in Tocantins we saw tons of him. Plus, you never see anything from Courtney... I don't remember much of her from China either. If it's not advancing the story, it doesn't get shown
Oh I forgot to state that Russel is the biggest feeling son-of-a-bitch I have ever came across in my life , and I am 71 years old and have worked all over the USA as a pipefitter / welder! ( HE MUST HAVE COME FROM TEXAS WHERE EVERYTHING IS BIGGER )
Although Russel is a liar and a scheimer I find it utterly impossible for him to find all of those immunity idols ( past show and now this one ) He is a person that you love to hate ! Russel cannot be trusted and I feel that the only reason that he is still on Survivor is because of the ratings on CBS . I used to like Survivior but now I do not trust it anymore ! IT IS A FIXED SURVIVOR NOW TO KEEP THE RAITINGS HIGH !
