Last Week on Survivor

Jerri gets on Russell's bad side by not taking him on the reward challenge and lives to fight another day in spite of it.

Survivor's Back at Camp After Tribal Council

At the last Tribal Council Rupert was voted off and Sandra played an immunity idol which no one knew about but her. Russell argues that playing a useless idol is not a bold or smart move but Parvati kindly reminds him that he did the same thing not that long ago. What Russell is really upset about is the fact that someone else had an idol and he did not know about it. Russell does believe though that Parvati knew about the idol and did not tell him, but he has made all this up in his own little mind. Try as she might, Parvati cannot convince him otherwise. This leads to Russell deciding that Parvati should be the next Survivor voted off. How'd that same plan work for you last week, Russell?

Survivor Immunity Challenge: Offer It Up

For this Immunity Challenge, Survivors will balance ceramic dishes on a long wobbly balancing arm with one hand while stacking dishes with the other hand. Colby and Parvati are the last two Survivors battling it out to the end. For the second time in a row, Parvati thwarts Russell's plans to vote her off by winning individual immunity as Colby, the Survivor who holds the record for most challenges won, loses his balance to cause his dishes to come crashing to the ground.

Survivor Tribal Council

At Tribal Council, Colby tells Jeff that had he won the immunity challenge today then Parvati would be going home. This shocks Parvati to think that Russell would turn on her like that; they have been together since Day One. As they have shown in the past, the Villains continue to stick to their original plan and with a unanimous Villains' vote, Colby Donaldson is the 8th member of the Survivor Jury and joins Coach, Courtney, JT, Amanda, Candice, Danielle and Rupert at Ponderosa.

Survivor Treemail

The final four Survivors' receive treemail sending them on the Rites of Passage walk where they honor the fallen Survivors. Afterward, they will continue on to their final Immunity Challenge.

Survivor Immunity Challenge: Blind Maze

Survivor's will be blindfolded and thrown into the Survivor Maze where they have to navigate by using guide posts which will have to be "read" by using their fingers. The guide posts have four different symbols leading to four different stations where Survivor's must collect the corresponding necklace. Once a Survivor has all four necklaces they must make their way back out of the maze and find the immunity necklace hanging from a pole at the end. The first person to touch the immunity necklace is guaranteed a spot in the final three competing for the title of Sole Survivor.

In the closest finish ever on Survivor, Russell, Jerri and Parvati are literally neck-in-neck to the end where Russell reached the immunity necklace just a smidgen of a second before Jerri. Russell is guaranteed a spot in the final three.

Survivor Plans to Outwit and Outlast

Jerri is confident that even though she lost she is still safe and it must be true because Russell said so, right? Russell tells Sandra she is safe because he thinks he can beat her in jury votes. Russell tells Jerri that Parvati thinks everyone is voting for her while at the same time telling Parvati he wants to take Sandra with the two of them to the final three. Parvati argues that she thinks it is a bad idea but Russell counters that he believes he is sure Jerri will still vote for him even if he kicks her off at this point.

Survivor Tribal Council

When questioned by Jeff, Parvati says she has been protecting Russell all through the game. Russell strongly disagrees saying he's been protecting her. Parvati retaliates that they have been protecting each other. Parvati goes on to say that the reason she aligned with Russell to begin with was that no one else would trust her; everyone felt like she was a big threat in the game. Looks like everyone was right about her being a threat as she sits at Tribal Council in the final four. The votes are read to reveal that Jerri Manthey is the 9th and final member of the Survivor Jury and joins Coach, Courtney, JT, Amanda, Candice, Danielle, Rupert and Colby at Ponderosa.

Survivor's Say Goodbye to Camp Yin-Yang

On day thirty-nine, the final 3 Survivors go to collect their treemail where they find a feast waiting for them. As they are relaxing on the beach after enjoying their feast Russell questions Parvati as to who she would have voted for had she been voted off in place of Jerri. Parvati quickly responds with, "Sandra." With that, Russell gets up and goes for a lone walk on the beach. While Russell is gone, Sandra decides on a little payback for Russell for all that he has done to her in the game by throwing his rank hat into the fire. When Russell returns looking for it both Sandra and Parvati claim ignorance. Before heading off to their final Tribal Council, Parvati sets fire to the camp stating, "The Heroes built it and the Villains burnt it down."

Final Tribal Council

At Tribal Council, Russell tries to take the high road with the jury by apologizing if he offended anyone along the way but it was all part of his game play - hard. Parvati states she knew she had a target on her back from Day One and used Russell as her shield and defense while still playing a social and physical game. Sandra points out that she has already been "sole surviving" all by herself ever since her original alliance was voted off. (She was never in an alliance with Russell, Parvati or Jerri.)

The Survivor Jurors get a chance to stand up and question the final three survivors in order to help them make a million dollar voting decision. What surprised me about this was that most of them made statements to the final three instead of questioning them. Jerri does want to know from Russell what changed and why she was voted off instead of Parvati. Before Russell can answer Parvati speaks up telling Jerri, "The reason that he told me that you were leaving is a hundred percent he knew he was getting your vote. He wanted you on the jury."

The Sole Survivor

Congratulations to Sandra Diaz, Russell Hantz and Parvati Shallow for making it to the final three in Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains. The Survivor Jurors cast their votes for who they believe is deserving of the million dollars and the title of "Sole Survivor."

(V) Benjamin "Coach" Wade votes for Parvati
(V) Courtney Yates votes for Sandra
(H) James "JT" Thomas Jr. votes for Sandra
(H) Amanda Kimmel votes for Sandra
(H) Candice Woodcock votes for Sandra
(V) Danielle DiLorenzo votes for Parvati
(H) Rupert Boneham votes for Sandra
(H) Colby Donaldson votes for Sandra
(V) Jerri Manthey votes for Parvati

With 6 votes out of 9, Sandra Diaz-Twine wins the title of Sole Survivor and another Survivor gets to write her a second check for a million dollars. (Sandra was also the winner of Survivor: Pearl Islands.)
