Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains Finale

Survivor History is Made

The Survivor Heroes vs. Villains Finale starts after Tribal Council. Russell was upset that Sandra had an immunity idol and didn't tell anybody. Russell had never told her that he had an idol before he used it; he seemed to be holding her to a higher standard. Sandra was upset that he was trying to micromanage the tribe. Russell assumed that Parvati knew about the idol, and that she was being sneaky; this upset him further. He wanted to get rid of Parvati next. Jerri agreed that she wanted to get rid of Parvati.

The next day, Treemail arrived. They would be going to an immunity challenge next. Russell remarked on camera that it would be ideal for him to be in the final three with Sandra and Jerri. He didn't think that either of them played the game well, and that he was practically guaranteed the win if he went up against those two.

Immunity for the Survivor Final Four

For the immunity challenge, the Survivors would stack plates and bowls at the end of a lever, and would have to balance the plates. They would add one dish at a time. The person who was able to stack the most plates and bowls up without having them topple would win.

The Survivors all were able to stack nine plates. Sandra's dishes toppled at that point. Jerri was able to stack 14 dishes before her stack collapsed. Russell's dishes fell next, after he stacked the 16th dish. When Colby and Parvati placed the 17th dish; Colby dropped his dish, giving Parvati immunity.

After they arrived back at camp, Colby gave a "surrender" speech, where he told the others that he wasn't going to scramble, but at the same time, he was actually trying to stay in the game. He approached Russell in an attempt to get rid of Sandra so he could stay in the game instead. The reasoning that he gave Russell would be that he would have a better chance at beating Parvati in the next challenge.

The Survivor Final Three is Decided

At Tribal Council, Colby said that everybody wanted to sit next to Sandra in the finals, because he didn't think that she'd have a chance at winning in the final three. Colby also revealed that if Parvati hadn't received the immunity idol, she might have gone home that night. His maneuvering did not work, and Colby was the last Hero to be eliminated.

The next morning, Jerri and Russell discussed their hopes that Parvati would not win immunity, because they wanted to get rid of her. They both thought that she was the biggest threat.

Parvati brought back Treemail; they were to pay their respects to their fallen comrades before the final immunity challenge. As they approached each station, they would gather a tag with the fallen comrades' name on it, and remember their favorite thing about them. They hung all of the fallen Survivor's tags on what looked like a cross between a building and a huge idol, then they set it on fire.

The Final Survivor Challenge

For the final immunity challenge, the Survivors would compete in a Survivor maze while blindfolded. They would have to go to four different stations and get four different necklaces before heading towards the finish line. While blindfolded, they would be able to feel guideposts along the way that would show them which way to go.

The Survivors stuck together for the most part. All except Sandra quickly found the first necklace. Sandra found the necklace right before Russell found the second one. Parvati and Jerri found their second necklace right afterwards. Jerri found a third necklace, Parvati found her third quickly after that. Parvati and Russell found their fourth necklace at the same time. As they were fighting to find their way out, Jerri found her fourth necklace. They were all looking for the exit, which had the immunity necklace. In one of the closest Survivor challenge finishes ever, Russell found it, although the other two were right behind.

The Final Three is Decided

Russell told Sandra that he wanted her in the final three because he thought that she could not beat him if he took her. Parvati wanted to switch Russell's vote to get rid of Sandra, because Parvati thought that Sandra would win.

At Tribal Council, Parvati said that she felt vulnerable. Sandra said that she had no chance of winning, so it would be good to take him to the final three. Parvati said that if Russell wanted to redeem himself as a Villain, he would keep her around. Parvati said that she has been protecting him as much as he has been protecting her. Surprisingly, Jerri was voted out. Evidently, the others changed their mind about who was the greater threat.

After Tribal Council, Sandra was thinking about her family. Her husband was in Afghanistan, and she missed him, and wondered if he was okay. She felt that he probably was.

The next morning, there was a huge feast waiting at Treemail for the Survivors. They ate until they were full, and discussed who they would have voted for if they were on the jury. Parvati would have voted for Sandra; Russell said that he would have voted for Parvati.

Sandra was upset with Russell, so she burned his hat (ironic, because he had burned Jaison's socks in the last season, but Sandra didn't know this at the time). When Russell came back, he wondered where his hat was. Russell didn't want to leave without it, but he couldn't find it. Before they left, they torched the shelter.

Facing the Jury

At the final Tribal Council, the final three Survivors made their opening statements. Sandra's opening statement was that her original alliance was voted off, and she had to make it on her own. Russell argued that he got to the final three because he played hard; he didn't understand why people would look at him like he did something wrong. Parvati argued that she kept Russell as a pet, and played a great social and physical game.

When the jury had the chance to make their comments and ask questions, Colby told Russell that he was delusional in thinking that he could get to the end of the game without any luck. Coach told Russell that he set a terrible example, and should have come in penitent rather than arrogant. Courtney said that Sandra was "as loyal as hell" and wanted her to defend loyalty as a strategy. When J.T. asked how they played the game, Russell thought that the people on the jury would respect the way that he played, but Danielle told Russell that nobody respected the way that he played the game. Parvati told Jerri that he thought 100% that Jerri would vote for Russell in the end, even if she was voted out. Rupert said that he wished that he had talked more to Sandra, and called Russell a disgusting human being.

When Jeff read the votes nine months later in New York City, Sandra ended up winning Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains, six votes to three (that went to Parvati). For the second season in a row, Russell made it to the final, yet did not get one vote. Sandra became the first Survivor ever to win two titles.
