Survivor: Micronesia - Fans Vs. Favorites, Episode 4 Recap

The Fans got some food when they caught a snake on the beach and chopped off it's head to cook it. They say they hope it'll taste like a hot dog.

Natalie mentions that she thinks Chet is lazy and should go home. While she keeps quiet and works her but off, he just sits around and does nothing. Some of the other's agree with her and the comment, "It's time for Chet's nap", is heard.

Eliza, of the Favorites tribe, gets sick and is possibly even running a fever. As she sits on the hot beach shivering others are sitting around talking about what a terrible decision it was voting out Yau-Man and saying that they should have voted out Eliza instead because she's so weak. Eliza can hear then and she gets mad.

Reward Challenge

At the reward challenge four members of each tribe need to swim out to a platform in the water. Then they have to dive down to a 30 foot long cage, one at a time, and get their tribe's ten coconuts out of the cage. Each coconut has a letter on them.

Once they get a coconut through the 30 foot cage and out, they need to swim the coconut to the surface and put it into a floating bin. When they've collected all ten coconuts they swim the bin to shore. Four of the other tribe members then must take the ten coconuts and unscramble the word that they make.

The winning tribe gets three egg laying hens, one rooster and chicken food. The Favorites get all the coconuts through the cage first and this leads then to victory. They then send Kathy, Fans, and Ozzy, Favorites, to exile island.

Exile Island

On exile island Kathy is through with looking for the immunity idol and decides to just make a fire. Ozzy tells her he's going out to look for food. In reality, he's looking for the immunity idol on his own. Ozzy manages to find all four clues and then finds the immunity idol.

Ozzy, in a sneaky maneuver first thought up by Yau-Man in the last Survivor, creates his own immunity idol. He wraps the fake idol in the same cloth he found the real one in. Then he proceeds to bury the fake immunity idol right back where he found the real one. He's hoping to trick someone else into thinking they have the real idol.

Immunity Challenge

Six tribe members from each tribe need to attach themselves to an end of a six point sliding hub. Then each player, one at a time, has to find the right key on the key chain for the lock in front of them. Once all six players are unlocked they need to maneuver their way around each other so they can collect the necklaces hanging from the "trees".

Once they collect all six necklaces they run back to the start and pass them off to the other two tribe members. These two players have to put the necklaces on a wheel by matching the letters with the shapes on the necklace to form a phrase.

The Favorites get all the keys unlocked first and get all the necklaces first. This brings them another win. Favorites are safe which means Fans will be going to tribal council.

Back At Camp

Eliza is trying to convince people that Jonathan is a big threat and can't be trusted. Jonathan overhears the conversation and is a little miffed. There's also talk about voting out Kathy and Chet because they're physically weak. The surprise comes when talk starts of voting out Mike, one of the strongest members of the tribe.

Tribal Council

The Fans go to tribal council and talk about not believing they have the advantage over the Favorites anymore. They want to vote out the weakest link in the tribe because they're doing so poorly in the challenges lately. They all seem to agree that "weak" does not necessarily have to mean strength.

The vote goes, 3 votes for Chet and 5 votes for Mike. Mike voted out at tribal council this week.
