Survivor Panama - Casaya Continues Their Winning Streak!

The reward challenge was a victory for Casaya, not only was it a winning victory for them, it also gave them a nice luxury as their reward. Winning the reward challenge gave Casaya a much needed bathroom and shower combo for their camp. However, instead of using it as a bathroom and shower, Aras suggested they use it as storage for their firewood and towels (to keep them dry).

Bobby thought otherwise, he decided to take advantage of its real use when nature called. I don't blame Bobby one bit, I probably would rather use it for what it's meant to be used for too, especially the shower. I don't know about you, but personally, I hate to be dirty, and the first thing I would have done would be take a shower - a nice long shower. But you know, after I thought about it a minute, depending on how much firewood and towels they had, and depending on how much space was actually in the bathroom and shower, they may have been able to arrange the firewood and towels in the bathroom and shower neatly enough to use it as all three - a bathroom, shower and storage.

While on Exile Island, Terry used his hint and immediately began his search for the Immunity Idol. After Terry pondered the first clue a little while it paid off for him - he found the Immunity Idol. Even though he had to dig for it, Terry was a pretty happy man. Like Jeff has always said, "if used correctly, the Idol could take that person a long way in the game." And I think I figured out a way the Idol could take someone a long way. For all you future Survivors, pay close attention, and if you happen to find the Idol you can try this and let me know if it worked for you. Here's my theory:

First of all, you must be pretty well liked by your tribe mates, and you must try your best to not do anything to make them want to vote you out soon. If you become pretty well liked, and if you're able to keep the Idol a secret from everyone (don't tell a soul no matter who they are), hang on to that sucker as long as you possible can. If you can stay liked you will make it far in the game. If you can keep the Idol hidden and secret long enough, and also stay in the game long enough to at least make it to the final three you would have guaranteed yourself a spot in the final two, and from there it will be up to the jury. Of course I'm sure many of you already know this much, but here's a few suggestions on how you can stay liked, and they may or may not work, you never know in the game of Survivor.

First, work hard around camp; do as much as you can to help, don't be lazy. Next, give it all you got in all the challenges to help your tribe mates win, but try not to show too much strength. If you show too much strength they may see you as great competition and vote you off for that. When it comes down to winning individual immunity, don't try to fight too hard for it if you truly believe you're safe. However, if you think your vulnerable to be voted out, work your hardest to win individual immunity so you can use it instead of the hidden Idol you found - try to save this in case you need it when it comes down to the final three. Now I'm not sure of all the rules to the hidden idol - I'm not certain how long you can actually hold on to it, and if you can still keep it hidden if you win individual immunity - but I'm guessing you probably can since Jeff has said "it can get you far in the game."

I couldn't believe Danielle stood there just watching Cherie work! She could have offered to help Cherie instead of standing and watching. I have to agree with Shane, Danielle doesn't do much to help her tribe out at all.

The immunity challenge brought Casaya another win. Bad news for Lamina though, they had to face another tribal council, and they would loose another tribe mate. Lamina really needs to toughen and try their very best to win a few immunity challenges, because if they don't, when the merge comes, you know Casaya will pick them off, one by one, what's left of their tribe.

The dreaded tribal council lead to Ruth Marie's trip home, and Sally being thankful it wasn't her. Ruth Marie, in my opinion, showed good sportsmanship on being voted out when she said, "I'm not upset about their decision. It's a game, it's fun, there's lots of twists and turns." She's right too, after all, there's nothing you can do about it anyway…once Jeff snuffs out your torch that's the end of the road for you.

Here's another tip for all you future Survivors: to keep deer flies and mosquitoes away from you find a sassafras leaf, roll the leaf between your hands and also put it behind your ear. The smell will be pleasing to you and your tribe mates, and it will keep those deer flies and mosquitoes away from you. Let your tribe mates know so they can do the same to themselves.
