Survivor's Blindside Queen Gets Dose of Her Own Medicine

Reality Rehash
Survivor Heroes vs Villains lost one of my favorites tonight but before we get to that I guess we'll have to recap. Returning from their first Tribal Council the very Villainous Coach broke down. He didn't like the fact that Sandra called him out and cried and cried to Tyson about nobody liking him. I could care less if nobody likes his fakeness but it was a different "character" of Coach at least and it was nice to see he and Tyson having a moment. Coach even thought of quitting, which I doubt is true, but Rob kicked that idea out of him the next morning by basically becoming his Coach and keeping the Dragon Slayer from going crazy...er.

After seeing a small segment of the Heroes getting Tree Mail, it was time for their first reward challenge It's about time they get one and it's a rehash from Fiji. Hopefully the only rehash from Fiji because that season was just plain old boring! After sliding down a slip-n-slide, one from each tribe would grab a hanging ball and throw it into a basket. First to do so got a point, first to four won. Some sucked at sliding and some pairings made it obvious who would win. In the end a tie was broken by Tyson who claimed a reward victory for the Villains, giving them a good mood boost and a winning streak.

Returning home with their Sears gear, Russell, of course, found the first hidden immunity idol clue tucked into one of the tools. It fell out in front of everybody so everyone now knows where the idol is. Sandra spoke up quickly, stating that whoever finds the clue is marked and Rob jumped on that. Saying anyone who even looks for the clue would go. Of course Russell, being the hidden idol king. went looking and although he didn't find it we at least know he most likely will since he's the only one even trying.

Over at the Heroes tribe they found the clue in their coffee from last week, thanks to JT, and everyone was pretty much off. They all gathered around a tree where the clue led them too but Tom was first to spot the idol and tuck it into his socks. Amanda spotted him doing it though and basically spilled the beans to everyone. Tom may have the idol but it sure isn't hidden and with that the Heroes tribe is even more scrambled then it was before.

With all the idolness over it was time for their next Immunity challenge, the one were last season the other Russell was taken out of the game. It would be the first time anyone won the challenge and I'm glad they are repeating it. One from each tribe would be in a wooden ball, moved down a course by two blindfolded tribe mates and then conduct four others, who are also blindfolded, into doing a puzzle. It seemed less hectic then last season with Rob getting to the mat first followed by Tom. The two were neck and neck when it came to the puzzle but in the end Rob did much better as a caller and the Villains won their third Immunity challenge.

Back at Hero beach things weren't looking too good for Tom and Colby. Although they had the idol, people still wanted them gone and Cirie thought of the idea to split the vote and ensure that one of them left. Tom didn't want to throw in the towel though and approached JT and Amanda, who were already talking of sending Candice home. Amanda is a follower, and it's much more noticeable this season then ever before. Tom pulled James aside as well and they agreed to send Candice home but Cirie wouldn't have that and in trying to save Candice, she put her name in the mix as well. Amanda/James were swapping back but JT didn't want to and talked to Colby and Tom. The plan was to have Tom use the idol and put their three votes on Cirie, sending the "puppet master' home early. Only problem was that JT wasn't sure on his vote and once again, just like his season in Tocantins, JT was the swing vote in yet another Tribal Council.

At Tribal, Jeff made a very interesting statement that Rupert's answer of getting rid of someone even if it's not benefiting their tribe is the right decision. With the votes in Tom used his idol, just to get rid of it, and Cirie was sent home thanks to JT, getting a dose of her own blindsiding medicine. I must say she wasn't as big of a force this season then in the past. I'm glad she was back though as Cirie is a tough player and someone who people can relate with. I wish she would have gone to at least the merge and she will be missed, I thought for once she would finally have a chance at the money!
