Susan Boyle - a Beautiful Swan

Also an Autobiography Soon

Susan Boyle, the Scottish singing sensation, who plummeted to fame last year after appearing on simon Cowell's show, "Britain's Got Talent" - is now confident she has changed into a more glamorous and 'sophisticated' woman since she got rid of her unkempt hair and old-fashioned clothes which made her famous.
Boyle said, "When I look in the mirror, I see a more sophisticated woman. It's a bit like a cygnet to a swan. I am still the same inside, although the outward projection is somewhat more refined in some ways."

Although she went on 'Britain's Got Talent,' with hair that was wild, eyebrows brushy and the dowdy frock she was wearing, she had to be noticed. It was a perfect choice then, and the whole idea has been good to her.

Susan Boyle's debut album has been named the world's best selling record of 2009. I Dreamed A Dream, which appeared in stores in November 09, received the title of Britian's top-selling release last year (09), while the Scottish singer came in second to Taylor Swift's Fearless in America's 2009 run-down.

Susan's next album is making it up the charts already for preorder sales on Amazon.UK, and it isn't even recorded yet. If only Amazon.com in the USA would wake up and offer it for presale! I believe her next album will outsell the first. She is loved by millions, and will be supported by her fans in any venture.

Boyle has spoken about writing an autobiography, which may be in the making at this moment. She says, "When I strutted on to the stage for that audition, I was a scared wee lassie, still grieving for my mother, not caring how I looked. I think I have become more grown up within the last year, and not so frightened any longer." She further stated that she is writing this book to try to show that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover and she hopes it will help others as well.

Boyle says, "I hope that telling my story will show that dreams are not impossible, if you've got courage and a willingness to go on no matter what the circumstances."

"The Woman I Was Born To Be", is the title of the tome (book), and it should hit the stores in the autumn 2010.

I think her name helped as well since it is more unique than say, "Mary Smith."

I really like her, and she is a very talented and beautiful person. Inner beauty is the most important of all. People need to stop paying more attention to the outer shell and look within.

Good for her. I like that she's so different than everyone else. It's time the world appreciate a 'real' woman and not a plastic one.

Yes, good article, altho it should be pointed out that Susan Boyle had only one month to get her amazing status (album debut end/November, 2009) and Taylor Swift had all year. We love her in the U.S. More important, tho, her work has won the title of WORLD Best Selling Album with her beautiful voice with REAL and exceptional singing ability, thus her phenomenal fame...and well-deserved.
