Tonight was the night that Susan Boyle and the world waited for. Susan Boyleperformed for the last time in front of the audience of "'s GotTalent".She turned to make acomfortable yet stellar performance of the song which gained her fame '" ' "I Dreamed a Dream". Once again the audience was on theirfeet, including all three judges. The song was so moving it brought a tear toSimon's eye as noted by one of the other judges. No singer could out do Ms. Boyle; however, the dance team Diversity walked away with first place, the 100,000 pound ($159,000) prize and Susan's coveted the chance to perform before Queen Elizabeth II. Diversity's 10-member dance troupe had a spectacular picture perfect performance.

Susan Boyle walked away from the contest with a second place win, former and certainly many more television interviews, a recording deal, and my guess a story of your life movie (now that is just my guess). Boyle was gracious in learning of her fate and curtseyed to the crowd after hearing the results of the vote.

Simon Cowell had the following words to say to Susan, "Win or lose you had the guts to come back here tonight, face your critics - and you beat them"

Dreams dashed, or were they, when she came in second place? I think not. I think she is still on the ride of her life and enjoying every minute of it.

I think she enjoyed herself until that last week, then it got to be too much. I wrote the article immediately after she sang, prior to the day she was hospitalized. I think too she will still have a career. She will be better for the experience. "What doesn't kill you makes (you) stronger"~Nietzsche~

She'll probably still have some kind of career. I think this experience overwhelmed her.
