Susan Boyle Dancing with the Stars Spot Begins Boyle's Next Tour

Susan Boyle and Dancing With the Stars wouldn't seem like a natural fit. Susan Boyle isn't a dancer, and Dancing With the Stars isn't about singing. But Susan Boyle and Dancing With the Stars came together in the latest effort to pad Dancing With the Stars' results show to a full hour. And of course, the Susan Boyle Dancing With the Stars guest appearance had the dancers performing to Boyle's signature song.

Once more, Susan Boyle was called on to sing "I Dreamed A Dream" which made her the world's new sweetheart on Britain's Got Talent months ago. Boyle had previously performed for American reality TV on America's Got Talent, the U.S. spinoff of the original British show.

In that case, Susan Boyle performed in the big finale, but for Dancing With the Stars, she came on in the third-to-last week. It was a night of musical performances on this Dancing With the Stars results show, as Boyle followed Michael Buble's rendition of his new song "Haven't Met You Yet." Boyle herself has a new album that's coming out November 23, which would help explain her Dancing With the Stars guest turn.

Instead of waiting for the Dancing With the Stars finale to plug the album, Boyle got a head start two weeks earlier. And instead of performing one of the new songs from the album, Boyle went to the "I Dreamed A Dream" well one more time. But this time, the difference was Tony Dovolani and Chelsie Hightower dancing to it.

Susan Boyle's Dancing With the Stars appearance was another chance for people to remember her rags-to-riches story that dominated the summer. It was also another chance for the press to remember how things went sour at the end of Britain's Got Talent, and how people questioned whether instant fame agreed with Boyle.

However, she has had months to prepare her first album, and more than enough time to endure the latest media blitz coming her way. Even Sharon Osbourne's recent comments about Boyle being "beaten with an ugly stick" may roll off her now.

Things are working out so far, as the album is already a best seller, and Boyle will next go on another British reality competition, The X-Factor, to sing her new single on November 22. Dancing With the Stars will have its own jam-packed finale two days later, as it moves on to the semi-final round.

They lash out at Susan because they are angry that all it takes to make it is an amazing talent and stunning personality (something both Amanda Holden and Sharon Osbourne lack completely).

I noticed that the judges on Dancing With The Stars did not even have the courtesy to show up for Susan's performance last Tuesday. Apparently they do not realize that many current viewers only continued to watch the show because Susan Boyle was on it (not to mention the number of new viewers who watched the show for the first time because Susan was on it). I do not feel the need to continue to watch the remainder of the season. This has been the poorest season to date. Susan was beautiful and sounded amazing as always.

I forget the names of the Hosts on that show, but they seemed rather snobby as well. I know the male host has been on a number of shows over the years, and I still have no idea what his name is.

I do hope Susan never appears on ABC or CBS again (CBS obviously because they employ that horrid Amanda Holden). The female British judges seem to be overly jealous and upset since they found out they went through the pain of all that plastic surgery for nothing.
