Susan Boyle - Early-life Problems and a Performance Lost
The star made famous with I Dreamed A Dream and shot to fame on TV show, "Britain's Got Talent," last year had a long-term boyfriend and has often talked about her lack of being seen during that period. Susan finally revealed why her love life has been so empty. Her dad, Patrick discouraged a boy who was seeing her when she was in her 20s.
In her upcoming autobiography, 'The Woman I Was Born to Be', Boyle writes, "It was a relationship that never got any further than holding hands and a peck on the cheek. I was upstairs when it happened. My father got to it first. 'She doesn't want to talk to you.' He said and explained he wanted to protect me. It really did hurt when we stopped seeing each other."
Susan Boyle lost her singing spot on October 5 on 'Dancing With the Stars' as she fell ill on a flight from Scotland to Los Angeles, reported by the New York Daily News. She had a severe throat infection, and was told by her doctor she should not sing. Susan was extremely upset for letting her fans down. Then it was announced that Michael Bolton was taking Susan's place on the show that night, even though he was ousted from the show the previous week.
Bolton had a kind of falling out with Bruno Tonioli on the show the week prior to October 5, when the judge said his performance was the worst in eleven seasons. Bolton later said on 'Good Morning America' that tonioli should apologize for the comment.

Post a CommentI always miss DWTS on the nights when something really exciting happens!
Due to no fault of her own, Susan has had to cancel her last two USA TV performances. First one, A technical glitch with song rights not arriving in time for show, and next, a severe throat infection. Major disappointments to both Susan and all her fans, but she always seems to prevail against adversity and will continue, I have no doubt.
Also, altho her father did what he thought best for her at the time, I hope that now she will find someone that is right for her and cares for her as much as her world of fans does.
Wow...what turns of events. I feel badly for Susan....she seems like she is not getting the breaks. I hope, as a father, I do not ever have it said about me what Susan said about her dad. I love my girl so much and I would never, ever want to her my pretty princess.
