Susan Boyle Fears for Her Fortune

Now Happy About Her Part in a Christmas Special of 'Glee'

Susan Boyle is in constant fear that her money will all melt away. According to her brother, she has no idea of the amount of money she has earned.

Since she appeared on U.K. TV contest, Britain's Got Talent last year, this Scotish lady has become a global celebrity. She has also sold over than 8.5 million copies of her first album, I Dreamed A Dream.
.
Susan's brother, Gerry, says her fortune is under the control of her management team. This team provides Boyle with a weekly allowance of $450 (300 lb.). Brother Gerry tells us Susan is highly distressed over her finances that she might lose all of her fortune one day. He reported to Britain's News of the World, that when Susan realized she cannot simply go into a bank and take out her own money, she became angry and thought she had spent most of her savings and was down to her last few pounds.

Susan's millions are sound and safe, although she has no idea nor notion of money, or the value of how much she has, which leaves her distressed. She fears losing everything and going back to her old life before her fame and fortune. Susan is told she gets 300 pounds per week since she is a novice, and she doesn't have the money to go buy furniture and others things.

Susan Boyle is not savvy about money. She only wants to sing. Also, she is worried about her situation, which possibly could be quelled by her management team or brother allowing her a report from them at least every month. She is getting paranoid that she may go back to where she was before Britain's Got Talent.

Now, a brighter day is coming, when Susan Boyle is set to star in a Christmas special of 'Glee.'

It has been confirmed the Scottish lady and singer will appear in a one-off special of the musical show. Also, the Beatles legend, Sir Paul McCartney's hit singles are also planned to make an appearance in the show.

Ryan Murphy, the creator of Glee, said Paul contacted him personally and asked if he would use his songs in the programme. The songs came to Murphy in a package, handwritten, with two CDs. The message said 'Hi Ryan, I hope you will consider some of these songs for Glee.'

Also confirmed by Murphy are the rumours that the 'Britain's Got Talent' contestant, who became famous around the world when her audition became an online sensation - is going to appear.

Susan is possibly slated to play a dinner lady in the school, although Murphy did not confirm exact details as to her part in the show.

I can imagine that a management team may be tempted to take advantage of someone like Susan with newfound, almost overnight money.

Susan's a very bright lady. She's putting herself on a budget and letting the principal gain interest till she's ready to retire. Anyway, she can still dip into her cash when anything special comes up she needs to buy.

Janice, all artists should have a basic knowledge of money management.....

I'd hate to see it happen to her. It's happened to so many others though.

Interesting! You would think someone would teach her how to manage her money.
