Susan Boyle and Lou Reed Finally Become a Team

To Shoot New Video in Scotland

Susan Boyle recently spoke about how she was hurt when Lou Reed refused to have her sing his tract 'Perfect Day' on America's Got Talent. But in a dramatic change of heart the former Underground front-man has gotten involved in the production of the singer's new video.

Sixty-eight-year-old Reed was creatively involved during the production of Boyle's video for the song that he earlier banned her from singing. The video was shot on the banks of Loch Lomond and Reed told the newspaper, "I wanted to create a beautiful and intimate piece shot in Susan's native Scotland and she quickly agreed." Speaking about the two of them working together, Boyle said, "I loved that Lou understood how much it meant to me to film in Scotland. I didn't mind how much it rained or blew a gale - I enjoyed every minute."

Speaking to Piers Morgan on his show, 'Life Stories' which aired on Saturday November 6, 2010, Boyle described Reed as being childish for refusing to let her sing his song, however, it has been reported that the interview was recorded before Reed became involved in the event. Boyle's second album 'The Gift' was released November 8, 2010.

Anyone else anxious to see the video?

Interesting that Reed changed his mind. Could $$$$ be the reason why? :)
