Susan Boyle and Now Shaheen Jafargholi Wow Britain's Got Talent Audience
Britain's Got Talent Competition, Certainly Has a Lot of Talent This Year
Shaheen Jafargholi, a very young 12-year-old from Wales wowed 13.5 million viewers of Britain's Got Talent this last Saturday. But Shaheen almost didn't get a chance to show just what a natural talent he actually has.
As soon as Shaheen Jafargholi started to sing Simon Cowell stopped him before he barely got through the start of his song. He started to sing "Valerie" by Amy Winehouse, and Simon Cowell put an end to that right away. But Simon did ask young Shaheen if he had another song he would like to sing. And luckily he did.
Shaheen Jafargholi then graced the audience with an awe-inspiring rendition of "Who's Loving You," done before by Michael Jackson when he was with the Jackson Five. Both the audience and the judges loved it. Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan both were just amazed and pleased with the talent that shone through from Shaheen Jafargholi.
Simon Cowell said after the performance by Shaheen Jafargholi, "This is how one song can change your life," and he added, "And this may be the start of something special for you young man." High praise from Simon Cowell, and this followed the standing ovation he gave to Shaheen Jafargholi.
Even Demi Moore later gave her own version of an endorsement on her Twitter feed after she saw the performance by Shaheen, "Wow this kid is something else!"
Fellow Britain's Got Talent judge Morgan Piers wote on his blog, "Once Simon got him to sing the right kind of song for his voice, he was sensational. Like a young Stevie Wonder." Morgan also stated that Shaheen Jafargholi could certainly give Boyle a run for the money, $146,000 to be exact for the winner.
Shaheen Jafargholi said after the performance, "I may be young but I'm so focused on what I want to do. I won't end up doing drugs or drinking or anything bad like that. I won't get any bad habits. Girls will have a part in my life but not for a while."
For right now at this time, it would seem that young Shaheen Jafargholi is focused on just the right thing.
