Susan Boyle Selects Winner of Her YouTube Competition, 'Susan's Search.'

Susan Boyle has chosen the winner of her singing duet contest as she announces the winner is Amber Stassi who will sing with her on her next album, 'The Gift'. Stassi is an American unknown singer who must sing quite well to be the winner chosen by Susan Boyle.

Boyle was an overnight singing success after she appeared on Simon Cowell's talent search show 'Britain's Got Talent' in 2009. Amber Stassi, mother of three, is the final winner of Susan's 'You Tube competition, 'Susan's Search.'
Susan said she wanted to give someone the same chance she had. She further commented that Amber is an outstanding and talented lady and that she (Susan) is excited about singing with her.

Boyle related it was difficult to decide on the singer she finally chose, as there were so many talented singers around the world and so many came to audition for this great opportunity. She said that Amber really stood out for her and that she truly enjoyed her audition clip. Susan said further that Amber has a very beautiful voice.

When Susan Boyle called the winner from her home in Scotland, she thought of her own audition for 'Britain's Got Talent' and how it has been viewed over 500 million times on YouTube. The winner, Amber Stassi, explained that she never expected she would win this competition - never in her wildest dreams. She also said, "To receive this gift from Susan is a real blessing. This provides a chance to give my kids memories and possibly a much better life.

Another comment from Amber was: "I can't believe I spoke with Susan - and that Susan and even Simon Cowell has seen my audition! This is crazy!"

Amber is actually a paramedic in New York, and she finds it difficult to believe she could have won this competition with the thousands of others who tried out for the spot. She will fly into London sometime this month to sing with Susan Boyle in a recording studio.

Thousands tried out for 'Susan's Search' - Amber Stassi won the prize. She will sing a duet with Susan Boyle on Susan's next album.
