Susan Boyle to Sing on Dancing with the Stars
Susan Boyle Will Appear on Dancing with the Stars to Promote New Album
Susan Boyle will appear on the Tuesday night episode of Dancing with the Stars, serving as one of the entertainers between Tom Bergeron letting the audience know which of the dancing teams is at risk of going home that week. Dancing with the Stars has become quite good at booking musical acts that people want to see, and this is definitely a good time to get Susan Boyle on the show. For Boyle, it may be another chance to lend her music to a new audience, and that could certainly help when her first album drops at the end of the month. With still competition on the record store shelves, she could probably use the boost.
The first album from Susan Boyle is going to be called I Dreamed a Dream and will come out on Tuesday, November 24th. It will feature the song that originally made her really famous on Britain's Got Talent. I Dreamed a Dream is from Les Miserables, and is not an easy song to perform if you don't have a big voice. Boyle has just that, and has rocketed to stardom in only the few shorts months that she has been in the public eye. Now everyone will have the chance to buy new songs from the songstress, as she looks to have one of the most successful albums of the season. It will be a tough task though, as both Kris Allen and Adam Lambert are releasing their albums in November as well.
The combination of Susan Boyle and Dancing with the Stars really seems like a good fit, and merely having her on the show could draw more viewers to the ABC show. Dancing with the Stars has been a steady show in the Neilsen top 10 rankings each week, and that shouldn't stop in the coming weeks as the show wittles itself down to the final contestants. There hasn't been an announcement as to which song or songs that Susan Boyle will perform, but we can already bet that its going to heartfelt.
