The first CD ever made by Susan Boyle was re-discovered. Sources report that Susan Boyle, Sony and Simon Cowell have already been discussing a recording deal for her. However, it will not be her first CD. Her first CD was recorded back in 1999 to benefit a charity. The recording was a compilation CD to benefit Whitburn Academy. Known as the Millennium Celebration disc, it was partly funded by the Whitburn Community. The CD was the idea of the local newspaper editor Eddie Anderson.

Much like Simon Cowell, he had launched a search for unsigned acts to take part on the album. He was certain after hearing Susan he was sure he had found a special talent. Eddie said, "I was amazed when she sang. It was probably the same reaction as everyone had last Saturday. Susan was exactly the same then as she is now. She has a fabulous and unique talent."

Susan Boyle became an overnight singing sensation after her rendition of "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables was sung on Britain's Got Talent. In spite of the fact that the audience and the world seems to be applauding her talent at present, she will not know until the end of May 2009, whether or not she made it through the audition phase of Britain's Got Talent.

Her performance of "I Dreamed A Dream" from Les Miserables has received more than 16 million hits on You Tube. Regardless of all the attention, Susan Boyle remains as she first appeared to the world, a woman of confidence and integrity. During an interview with Diane Sawyer for CBS, she refused further comment on her dating history. Prior to her audition performance she had admitted she had never been kissed. She insists that in the future her performance will not be followed by tiny dance steps. "That's it," she insisted. "Let's try and keep it ladylike."

When speaking of her performance in a different interview Susan had this to say, Susan added: "I'm taking it all in my stride and I'm quite relaxed about everything...I went on the audition to see how far I could get but the standard is very high...You need a lot of hard work and perseverance to make it...I think there is room for improvement though."
