Susan Boyle's Second Album, "The Gift" is Now Available

Susan Boyle, the British singer who achieved stardom via her success on "Britain's Got Talent," has now released her second album, "The Gift." The album contains a total of ten tracks. Susan Boyle sings "O Holy Night," "the First Noel," "Away in a Manger," "Do You Hear What I Hear," Christmas songs as well as Susan Boyle singing "Perfect Day," created by Lou Reed, "Don't Dream It's Over" created by Crowded House, "Hallelujah" created by Leonard Cohen and other songs.

Debut Album Sold 8.3 Million Copies

Susan Boyle sold 8.3 million of her first album, "I Dreamed a Dream." Also, the song "I Dreamed a Dream" was downloaded an astonishing 300 million times on You Tube, notes Reuters. Boyle just released "I Dreamed a Dream" last November. It was the only debut album by a female singer to debut at number one and top Billboard 200 for six weeks, notes Billboard.

Will the sales of "The Gift" top Susan Boyle's debut album? It is possible. When Boyle first announced the upcoming new album in the fall it quickly reached the number one spot on Amazon's Bestsellers, notes Perez Hilton. And with "The Gift" released just at the start of the holiday shopping season, buyers could be in a frenzy to get this album as soon as possible to ensure that they have in time to give as a Christmas or Hanukkah gift.
