Trivia Questions about the Songs of The Gift

B - Which of these songs did A. O. Scott, New York Times film critic, call for a moratorium on?
Listen to The Gift
In her first CD, I Dreamed a Dream, Susan Boyle sang show tunes, hymns, a Christmas carol, blues and soul, country, and rock (even a song by the Monkees). The Gift, with its dominant holiday theme, does not show as much variety. Instead of the strong musical theater voice which we first heard from her, throughout this album, her voice sounds smaller, somehow tighter. Not all of these recordings are from the CD itself.
"Perfect Day" by Lou Reed Lou Reed - Listen.
"Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen - Listen.
"Do You Hear What I Hear?" by Noël Regney, Gloria Shayne Baker - Listen.
"Don't Dream It's Over" by Neil Finn - Listen.
"The First Noel" Christmas carol - Listen.
"O Holy Night" Christmas carol - Listen.
"Away in a Manger" Christmas carol - Listen.
"Make Me a Channel of Your Peace" Hymn - Listen.
"Auld Lang Syne" by Robert Burns - Listen.
"O Come All Ye Faithful" Christmas carol - Listen.

Thanks for these links. I love Susan Boyle's beautiful voice.
This woman's story is just amazing, isn't it?
Listening again. PV love!
I was looking for her CD today but didn't find it.
Great job! She does seem a little controlled(?) in these songs.
Michael, I am writing this comment while visiting Scotland--seems fitting somehow. Susan Boyle is an amazing phenomenon. Superb voice in an otherwise "ordinary" woman. She deserves all the success. Thank you for highlighting her new album.
I came back to listen to more songs! This is a great resource article for me!
She has the voice of an angel. I have her first CD and I love it. I must have watched that youtube video of her singing, "I Dreamed a Dream," at least half a dozen times.
Thanks for the links!!
