Sushi Ota is located in the mission bay area which is not to far from the beach or the bay which makes it a convenient sushi Restaurant to go to especially if you want to go to the beach afterwards. This restaurant has very fresh seafood and you can even have a seat right in front of the sushi bar and you can watch them prepare you meal. The waitresses are friendly and polite. There are a variety of rolls you can order depending on taste. The prices would fall in the medium category. They are not the cheapest but they are also not the most expensive. If you are in the mission bay area this is a good sushi restaurant in San Diego to go to. Sushi Ota is open from Tuesdays through Sunday.

Benihana is different from Sushi Ota and others because it not offers great sushi, but also entertains its customers. If you want a place to bring you family to dine it is this sushi restaurant. This restaurant is located close to Mission Valley. Customers may share a table with others but will also share a show that their chef puts on for them. As the chefs cook and prepare your food they will amaze you with their chopping skills and fast fingers. Their sushi is also very fresh and succulent. They have unique items that will satisfy anyone's hunger. The main courses and entrees at this restaurant are a little more expensive than others but are well worth it. The meals can range from $15-30.

This restaurant is a buffet style place, so you can get all the sushi and seafood you desire. They have fresh sushi, lobster, shrimp, and snow crabs. This buffet runs around $15 for lunch and $25 for dinner.

This restaurant is also located closer to North County in San Diego. If offers a variety of seafood and sushi that will make your mouth water. This buffet is very inexpensive and ranges $8-12 depending if you go for lunch or dinner.

Ichiban on the Rocks is owned by the same person who ruins Ichiban. This Sushi restaurant has great happy hour specials that include good sushi and great beer, and sake specials. During happy hour you can get a small bottle of sake for $1.75. California rolls during happy hour are $3 and they also have other unique and delicious items on the menu. If you want a great place to sit, drink for happy hour, and have sushi then this is the restaurant for you.

This restaurant has a great outdoor patio to sit in and each lots of yummy sushi. This sushi restaurant is known for is great happy hour menu and face service. During happy hour there is always a line out the door. Happy hour prices for sushi ranges from $1.75- 5.00. Happy hour is Mon-Fri from 3 pm - 7 pm. Some of their happy hour sushi rolls includes California roll, shrimp roll, crab roll, crunchy roll and much more. This is an inexpensive and great place to go to for sushi in San Diego.

Todai Seafood Buffet is located near mission valley as well. This Seafood Buffet is different from the other buffets because it is the biggest one. This restaurant is huge and has many different stations that offer great seafood. This restaurant is known for its sushi station. Todai has great seafood but if you want sushi don't worry because they usually have over 20 different kinds to offer. They serve sushi rolls to nigri. They have friend tempura rolls, baked rolls, eel rolls and much more. This buffet is no the cheapest but cost from $13 for lunch and $25 for dinner. If you want to fill up on really good sushi the cost is definitely worth it.
