Google.com and Yahoo! have always been the strongest search engines around, but nowadays, other search engines are on the rise-search engines that not only give you top notch results, but let you redeem prizes as well. Irazoo.com and Swagbucks.com are two search engines which do this. I've been using both, but I have to say that Swagbucks.com is one of my favorites. Just by doing everyday searches as you normally would, Swagbucks randomly gives you 'Swagbucks,' that can be worth anything from 1 to 20 swagbucks! There are also weekly sweepstakes and drawings for 500 and 1,000 swagbucks.

Swagbucks can be redeemed for awesome prizes, such as gift cards from amazon.com, Barnes and Noble, Walmart or Target, kids stuff, electronics, mp3 singles and albums, musical instruments, TV shows, and more! Just for joining you will receive 3 Swagbucks. It is very easy to collect Swagbucks, and you're most definitely guaranteed to get at least one prize per month if you use it every day!

Swagbucks also gives you clues to 'SwagCodes' that you can find either in their blog, on Facebook, Twitter, or in their weekly polls, but the secret that most loyal Swaggernauts know is to go to swagcodes.com. This site gets 30,000 hits per month and it's the simplest website around that lets Swaggernauts help each other earn more Swagbucks! When you do find a 'SwagCode,' go to your Account Page and enter the code in the appropriate box and press "Gimme!" Your account will be immediately updated with the free swag buck amount, which is usually equal to one Swagbuck. Since SwagCodes are time sensitive, you should enter them as soon as you receive it.

Another great way to earn Swagbucks is by inviting your friends to join the fun. When your friends join and earn a Swagbuck, you earn the same number that they do (up to 100). When you have a lot of Swag Buddies, your bucks pile up much more quickly.

One great Swag Tip to keep in mind is to only search at the Main Site (Swagbucks.com): Once you become a member, you will find that there are thousands of other swag bucks sites, including famous singers (Hilary Duff and Kelly Clarkson), sports teams, and news stations. Unfortunately, bucks earned at these other sites cannot be used at the main swag store.

This is critical, because prizes are cheaper at the main store. For example, an Amazon.com gift card costs 45 swag bucks at the main store, but that same gift card at any other store costs 60 swag bucks.

Another tip is to only cash out for Amazon.com gift cards, unless it's directly to a store of your choice, such as Target, Barnes and Noble, or Bed Bath and Beyond. It's almost always going to be cheaper at Amazon.com. For instance, let's take a look at the Rascal Flatts "Greatest Hits Volume 1" (2008):

- CD at the swag store costs 230 SwagBucks.
- $5 Amazon gift cards at the swag store cost 45 SwagBucks.
-CD at Amazon costs $12.

The CD would cost ~$26 at Swagbucks (230/45*$5), which means you could just purchase 3 amazon.com gift cards instead and save your swagbucks for something else!
