Paperback swap is an online swapping group. Registration is free online and you create a list of books you are willing to swap for books you want. When you sign up, credits are given for books you list to swap. Allowing you to start requesting books. Every time one of your books is requested and received by the requestor another credit is added to your account. If you find a book you want to read but do not have enough credits, you may purchase them from the site.
When another member requests your book, you are asked if you can ship the book within a reasonable amount of time. A label is generated for you to print right from home. The postage is paid by the person sending the book, but wait when you request a book the shipper will pay the postage on your book. There is a tracking system in place to monitor if you received the book, condition of the book and how long it took. Also if a book is not received, your credits are returned to you, unless the shipper has proof it was delivered. This website has a lot of traffic, so there are books always available. If there is a book wanted and not currently available, creating a wish list will allow you to know when the book is available.
Reading is an enjoyable activity for many. Using Paperback Swap can help to keep your costs down while getting books you want to read. If you don't have a library close to you nor the time to get there.
