Sweater Tunics: A Great Winter Look

Tunics are a perfect for winter to top off a pair of leggings. There are a lot of sweater tunics available now to keep you both warm and stylish. They are generally loose enough to cover those extra holiday pounds that most of us are bound to gain over the holidays or for those lucky enough (or disciplined enough) not to they are still a great top.

Here are my favorite tunics available this winter for under $100.

Takeout Cowlneck Tunic Sweater

Available at Kohl's in black, gray, burgundy or a deep teal, this sweater is perfect for the winter. It has a regular price of $30, but does go on sale. The length is perfect for leggings and high boots. The sleeves are elbow length.

NY Collection Petite Sweater, Colorblocked Tunic

This sweater tunic is available at Macy's at regular price for $49.99. It has a light gray vertical stripe on the side and then a darker gray stripe and the rest is black. It is very unique and perfect for those of us who are a little shorter than most.

Belted Cowl Neck Sweater Tunic

Available at Arden B for $59, this sweater tunic is available in three colors. They are black, purple and lime green. The lime green is certainly not my favorite but the other two colors are perfect for the winter. The have a cowl neck and drapey sleeves that are fitted at the bottom.

Cable Tunic

This cable tunic is short sleeved and available at www.alloy.com for only $29. It is available in a heather gray a black and a very pretty color called iris (almost like a deep periwinkle). With a nice long sleeve shirt underneath and a great pair of leggings, this is a perfect tunic for the winter and the price cannot be beaten.

Tommy Hilfiger Sweater, Kimono Sleeve Multi-Stitch Tunic

Another tunic available at Macy's is by Tommy Hilfiger for only $50. It is a kimono style tunic and available in a deep gray. It has a buttons on the sleeves for a nice touch and different patterns on the sweater portion. Nice and toasty it is perfect for keeping you warm on those cold winter days.

Whatever you choose in terms of a sweater tunic, they are comfortable and stylish.
