Sweet with a Copper Hint

A Powers
Her eyes are steel. Her lips are wine.
Her skin is pale, her features fine.
She walks with rhythm found within.
Her sultry glances suggest sin.
But sin does not begin to describe her intentions.

You'll see her, but she'll see you first.
She embodies the darkest of the worst.
You'll bite your tongue as she comes your way.
She'll whisper in your ear, invite you to play,
alluding to the lace hugging her dimensions.

She wears black leather like a prize.
Hellfire shines behind her eyes.
You might mistake her lust for love.
Don't be fooled. She's incapable of
anything that doesn't corrupt the soul.

Her kiss is sweet with a copper hint,
the blood of those who came and went.
She'll bite your tongue with teeth of glass,
claw your back with nails of brass,
humming her song, seducing the innocent whole.

Yes, she'll hold you 'till the darkness creeping
sees the whole of goodness sleeping.
But, believe me when I say
all Hell has seen her in this way.
Satan, baron of Evil, has kissed her hand.

She owns the flame that burns within
the hearts of all bloodthirsty men.
So when the sunlight cries the dawn,
you'll hide your face, humanity gone...
Just another drone in her army of the damned.
