Sweet Halloween Bling: "Boo Bracelets" Are Always a Hit with the Little Ghouls!

Miss Fortune

Every year I try to find interesting candy for the kids brave enough to make their way to my door. Safe candy is a priority for me so any time I come across something like the Boo Bracelets from Bee Candy I stock up on them. These are similar to candy necklaces and candy bracelets but with a Halloween twist to them. The beads are yellow and orange and there is a detailed edible pumpkin charm accenting it perfectly. They are made almost completely of sugar so you are going to want to make sure kids only have one of these or you might have to scrape the little ghouls off the ceiling.

Like regular candy bracelets and necklaces, these will temporarily stain the skin if you are wearing them and start noshing on them. Even the most careful of kids will end up with yellow and orange marks on their wrists. This washes off fairly easy but it can be a little shocking for parents to see these discolorations on their offspring's skin if they aren't aware that they were wearing one of these. They are a one size fits most sort of thing; adults can wear them but the candy won't be plentiful enough to cover the whole wrist and the elastic used for the banding could snap.

I found the bags of these locally for $1.99 each; there are ten individually sealed bracelets in each bag so they are perfect for handing out to trick or treaters as well as using in a Halloween piƱata or for treat bags that you make in advance for special boos and ghouls. They are also sold in a thirty and fifty count bag. This is a seasonal item so its something that's only available from the middle of September to the end of Halloween. Prices online are a little higher but most websites offer a discount for purchases of five bags or more at a time. For the price this is an adorable little edible trinket that's just as much fun to wear as it is to eat.

A wearable yummy. How cool! Thanks for the warning about it leaving stain on the skin, Freaky. That is prudent indeed. My mom once got all distraught about me developing hematoma all over my hands when I was helping her wash the house window panes with newspaper (because that was 2 weeks or so after my wrist surgery)... only to realize after much wailing that it was only ink transferred from the paper. :oP
