I love Sweet Tomatoes. We relocated with my husbands job to Las Vegas about six months ago and the first evening we were driving around I noticed Sweet Tomatoes. I was intrigued with the restaurant, but my husband is not a salad fan so I had to go by myself. Sweet Tomatoes is located in the newer part of Henderson, across the street from the Sunset Station Casino and Hotel. It is located at the cross streets of Warm Springs and Stephanie. You cannot miss it.
When you go into the restaurant you will grab a tray and plate and start preparing your salad. They have so much to choose from, but don't worry, you can return to the salad bar as many times as you would like. They have tons of pasta and cold salads, plus your traditional lettuce salad with every kind of fixing you can imagine. Once you have reached the end of the buffet line, there is where you pay for your meal. It is quite reasonable as well, about the same price or a little cheaper than buffets in the casinos around town.
Once you have purchased your meal and drink, you can pick a spot to sit. If you need help carrying your tray or if you cannot find a spot, the staff is always more than helpful to assist you. You will want to fill your beverage and sit down to enjoy your salad. But save room, because there is a whole lot more once you are inside the restaurant.
Once you have seated yourself and gotten your beverage, you may want to try something else. They have a huge soup bar with a lot of choices, a fruit bar, bakery, pasta bar, and plenty of desserts to fill you up. My personal favorite are their baked potatoes. For some reason they are so much better than the ones that I make at home.
I am not a huge soup fan, but I have heard it is fantastic. I would recommend you not come at the prime dinner rush time. This restaurant is quite popular with the locals and it is always busy. They have a small parking lot but you can usually find a spot. I would recommend Sweet Tomatoes in Henderson, Nevada for any salad fan. It is so good, I cannot get enough.
