Sweet Valentine's Day Gift Ideas for Teacher; Red Hot Bouquet of Candy Apples

Also Some Very Special Valentine Books Teachers Would Love

Are you looking for a sweet Valentine's Day gift idea for your teacher? Why not make them a red hot bouquet of apples. This gift idea is not only fun, but creative as well. For some reason kids love to give their teacher an apple for almost any occasion, so the bouquet can make up for all the holidays.

Gather The Items Needed

You will need a big plastic red vase approximately 8 1/2 inches high by at least 6-7 inches wide. Big enough to hold some apples, and other decorations. You can usually find these for around $5.00.

6-12 red hot candy apples. Decide if your giving the teacher a half a dozen or a full dozen.

Big box of Snow Cap candies or any other white coating you want to add onto the apples.

Big red bow to place around the middle of vase

Piece of lace to decorate the vase with

A half dozen of fake white flowers to mix in with the red apples

Making The Valentine Bouquet

First you need to make the apples. You can learn how to make these by reading an article called Perfect Valentine's Day treat for School; Candy Apples With A Touch Of White.

Then have fun and decorate the vase. Place the lace just on the rim, on the sides or all over. You can even fill the vase up by adding red marbles instead of water. There are so many different ideas, it's about using your creativity. This Valentine teacher gift idea should only cost you around $15-20 the most.

Another cute and perfect gift idea could also be a Valentine Survival Kit. What can the child give to the teacher in this kit? How about a simple Hershey kiss to let the teacher know he/she is loved, a hand lotion to keep the skin soft, and maybe find some heart Band Aids just incase the teacher gets a nasty paper cut or something. Think outside of the box.

Teachers love to receive books, especially ones to read to the class. Why not find some good Valentine's Day books like "I Love You, Little One" by Nancy Tafuri, "Valentine's Are For Saying I Love You" by Margaret Sutherland, "The I Love You Book" by Todd Parr, or even "The Biggest Valentine Ever by Steven Kroll".

When it comes to finding Valentine's Day gifts for teachers they don't have to cost a fortune. Remember the best gifts ever made are always homemade.
